Hello everyone, I've been getting a lot of help from this forum for so long time and I will love to seek some advice or to listen to experiences like this.
Any answers will be much appreciated!
I am writing on behalf of my brother who is in South Korea now, having his mandatory army service as Korean citizenship requires.
He was planning to visit Canada to renew his PR card on April 2020.
So the question is:
1. Do you have to stay in Canada throughout entire process of PR card renewal? For example, if the card renewal takes 60 days from the date of sending the application to the date of receiving new PR card, then should he be in Canada for 60 days?
2. Within how many days should he go to the office to pick up his PR card? Can he choose different means of delivery?
3. If he is appointing me to pick up his PR, can I pick up the card on behalf of him?
4. If he is getting PRTD, does it have an expiry date? Can he use the PRTD to enter Canada later (e.g. 2021 April)?
Thank you in advance and hope everyone stays healthy : )
