I saw in other forums that people with pictures submuted on 13 and 16 decembre got updates and their cards were approved

17th December. But I am not sure if I got the approval or not as I went in through an agency so now I am having them check my account. Hopefully I get the PR card soon as I need to travel in 10 days

Re-submitted photos on 18Dec2018 for myself, Spouse and daughter. Again today received email to re-submit photos for my Spouse.

Myself and daughters got approved.

We clicked the photos at same place. Not sure how this processing is.

Yes I am, and even people with photo recieved on 28 and 2 january got it

Gost update is when they update your profile in the ssystm. FOr example when they start processing your application, they recieve your pictures, then they do an update. you see in your profile updated once you click on it goes back to subbmited as before
normmaly after gost update people see approved ( pictures approved) and then they recieve their PR. I hope it was heplful

However, rest assured that this situation is normal since the responsible office is currently processing photo retakes received before December 10, 2018.

They are pretty backlogged it seems
