Hello friends,

Myself Akash landed in Canada on last Oct 20, 2015 and applied for PR card at the Airport and came back to India on Oct 26 2015....I called so many times to CIC in the month of Jan and Feb, and yesterday I received Photos resend request along with form 5455...

I am bit concerned as I am in India these days and need to send my photos where I need to provide Studio address at the back of photos (as required for PR Card Processing)..does CIC make any issue if they received my stamped photos with Indian address not Canadian...

Is any one aware any concerns /issues created by CIC in the past on the cases which is similar to me..?

Do you just print the letter they send you that has name and uci on it and attach the 2 photos and that's it or is there a form to attach? Email doesnt mention a form but I see some people here saying they attached one.

Hi Everyone,

Very frustrated here.. My fiance landed on December 3 2016.. we received notice on February 9 2017 that his photos had been rejected (this was after the immigration official at landing taking new photos as the ones we submitted with his app were deemed unacceptable by her). We submitted new photos on Feb 10th 2017, they were received on February 13th 2017. We just found out that his photos have been rejected again (it is Feb 16th 2017). The issues is he is traveling home for 5 days in March (March 22-27). We are panicking!! What are we doing wrong? We have gotten 3 sets of photos now.. 1st at Wal-Mart, 2nd by an immigration official upon landing and 3rd at Shoppers!

I guess the same thing happened to us

Received notice on Feb 9, sent new photos on morning of Feb 14, and received another identical notice (except the date) on Feb 16. We thought it was a mistake and that there was no way they already received and checked the photos we initially sent, but I guess they probably did I don't know what was wrong with the pictures we sent. We carefully read the instructions. I guess we'll try again, but it's frustrating not to know what's wrong. What are we supposed to correct??

I landed on Dec 20th. Called CIC today and they told me my photo was rejected.
My photo was taken in London drugs Vancouver.
I think I need to try another photographer this time.

Thanks for sharing the information Deepak. May I know how will you be able to land in Canada again without PR card in hand now. Will immigration department allow in such cases?

Hello Frendz, could anyone help me to give suggestion as I landed in canada on 26 march 2017 and on 9 may 2017 I got the request to resubmit the pictures which I send to CIC on 24 may 2017 through regular post (not registered), via canada post. I have already received the PR card of my son, but till date neither I nor my wife get our PR Card though we contacted the CIC telephonically and inquired about the status of my PR Card. they are not giving any satisfactory reply and stating that they have not updated the information on the system.
My 60 days limitation period to send the pics on 7th of this month. is there any chance to cancel the PR card or CIC will call again for the resubmission of the pics.

Requested the VISA officer to verify my pics are good - Which he did
Got a Photo retake request on the 26th June, 2017
The new pics reached them on the 30th June, 2017
No PR Card yet
When called the CIC Call center they just mention that they are working on the 24th May Photo Retake application
Feeling disappointed but just have to wait

If you are in Toronto, you might want to try WWFS photo centre in scarborough instead of walmart or shoppers drug mart.
