I did my soft landing and went back to my home country(India) in March

Have gotten a photo resubmission request now for PR Card.

Will they accept a photo which has been clicked in a India? As I am planning to get it couriered.

Do you know any successful case in which photo sent from a different country?

Yes it’s accepted. Doesn’t matter where the photo is taken as long as it meets IRCC requirements.

I received the photo retake request on 13 Feb 2020. Sent the photos to Sydney and they received it on 26 Feb 2020. After that I have not received any update in my profile. So, hoping to get the PR card soon.

just the photos suffice. but if possible you can include print of the letter requesting the photos so they have an easy access to your application details = less chance of getting misplaced.

Hi All,

I am an inland CEC applicant and have received CoPR. My PR has been confirmed in email recently and have asked me to submit the CoPR documnet and a photograph to apply for PR card. I had few queries and reqest your help to address them,
1) How much time does it take to receive PR card in current situation once we submit documents for Inland applicant ?
2) If I am required to travel ourside of Canada, is it advisable to apply for PR card by submitting the documents and travel back to Canada after receiving the PR card. The reason being I may be required to stay outside of Canada for 3-4 months due to personal emergency in family. Can you please advise here.

1. How do you know when the resubmitted photos are delivered? Does regular post by Canada Post helps with tracking?
2. Also can we send Xpress Canada post to a PO Box address?
