Finally got PR CARD in the mail.

Dec 18 2015 Landed
Mar 1 2016 Photo Request (Letter is dated Feb 19 2016)
Mar 4 2016 Photo Retaken and Sent to Sydney NS
Apr 1 2016 CIC agent confirmed card was mailed Mar 28 over the phone and told us to wait 2~3 weeks. It came in the mail same day afternoon (Calgary AB).

What a nightmare this has been... hope there's good news for others too

Landed Oct 21, 2015.
Received photo resubmission request Jan 29, 2016
Forwarded new passports Feb 6, 2016
PR cards arrived Apr 5, 2016.

All is well that ends well. Glory to the Father of all creation!

Feb 29 : Husband got his Pr Card
March 1 : Called CIC . I was told I needed Photo Resubmission
March 2 : send them photos trhough fedex
March 8 : Photos Received

and still waiting for my PR Card. I hope it will arrive soon!!! ???

Agh got this letter in the mail today :'(. For a second I thought I had gotten lucky and it was the PR card

I don't understand how this could happen. When I landed the officer asked me to come inside and took new pictures. He explained that this was to avoid delays since the format had changed.

Seriously, this whole process has been so painful and tedious that I'll probably end up moving abroad *sigh*

You are very lucky to land before 2016, I guess even the PRC processing time was increased due to accepting large amount of refugees in the 2016. Lots of sep and oct applicants therefore was delayed to be issued immigrant status. Now the PRC processing time is back to normal to about two months.

Hi I am same here. Submit new photos for Wife and received CIC on 09th March 2016 and now waiting... Address is Vancouver. Today I just call CIC agent and he told me that there is nothing can see whether they received my photos or not. Card is not in production yet. May be end if this month can get. GOOD LUCK.

Hi,
I got a request for new photographs for my new PR card. So I sent the photos alongside my COPR and supplementary information form. But I didn't send the request letter from CPC-Sydney. Will there be any processing delays because of this or is everything normal and under control?

Let me rephrase my question. Is it absolutely necessary to send the request letter for submission of photos alongside our photos? If I don't, will it slow down my new PR card production process? Has anyone here sent their photos without the request letter and still got their PR card on time?

I landed 9th, Nov, 2015 and got request to submit new photo size of 5*7 in the end of Feb, 2016.

Nov 9, 2015 : Landed
end of Feb, 2016: requested to submit photos of all family.
4, Mar, 2016: photo was received by CIC
15, April, 2016: My daughter's PR card arrived, but mine and my wife's are not delivered yet, and keep waiting so far.

Are there any body who got all PR card after submitting new photos around beginning of Mar, 2016 ?

Photograph Request Date - 14th April, 2016 (Received Son's PR Card - New photos requested for me and wife: Letter Dated from CIC 4th April, 2016)
Photograph Sent Date - 20th April, 2016 (CIC will receive on 26th April, 2016)
PR Card Received Date - Expecting by 30th May, 2016 (hopefully)

Can anyone tell anticipated time frame?

I landed on April 5, 2016 where the boarder officer did not take my new pictures.

I wonder if I should promptly submit the pictures to them to avoid further delay. For those of you who have received a formal request, may I ask what information is required along with the pictures? Also, what is the address please?

Anyone knows how can I call to know my PR Card status? I called to +16139444000 and follow some instruction... At the end the machine told me that they would transfer my call to CIC and that I could call directly to +1-8882422100. They told me all agents were busy, that I could find all the information on the website, and the call automatically ended!!! Please help me! I sent new photos on March 17, 2016 and I don't even know if they receveid it!!! :-[

Here's my timeline:

Landed - Feb 25th, 2016 (Submitted two 50mm x 70mm photos)
PR Photo Resubmit Request - April 18th, 2016
New photos sent - April 19th, 2016 (Xpress Post)
Photos Received at CPC, Syndey - April 20th, 2016

Hoping to receive my card by May 20th since I plan to fly out May 21st..if I don't get it by then, I'll have to push back my vacation dates to July :'(

Got a big brown envelope in the mail. It contained a pre-paid envelope to send off the new photos, another document outlining photo specs and the letter stating that the photos didn't meet specification.
