Renewal of Permanent Resident Travel Document

Good Morning,

My UK passport containing my PR Travel Document has expired. Is there an application and process to renew a PR Travel Document or must I go through the entire application process again? Thank you.

So you do not have a current PR card then ? If the PRTD has expired you need to apply again given it is really only supposed to be a temporary document in lieu of renewing a PR card when next in Canada.

So is renewal possible in her/his case then?
Mine took 5 months to get approved, and by the time it was granted I couldn't travel.
I'm so depressed over it, as I have lost a lot of money on plans that had to be cancelled.... and now I'm worried that if I apply again, they will either take too long or reject me.

There is no renewal process for a PRTD. You must apply for a new one each time you need it.
