Regarding express entry work experience

Hello,
I started my Teer-2 work experience as a supervisor in Toronto on May 21, 2023 and visited India for a vacation of 26 days from November 12, 2023 till December 8, 2023. I rejoined my job on December 11, 2023. The vacation was an approved vacation but not paid. Recently, I contacted my company for the work experience letter and they told me that I will be eligible to get one year work experience letter on May 21, 2024, exactly after one year of my joining. I asked them about the time when I went on a vacation and they replied that they won't deduct that period as I was on approved vacation. Will I be eligible to create an express entry profile after May 21? I am not sure if it will be an issue that during my 12 months of work experience, I was off for 26 days. Although, I am fulfilling the 1560 hours eligibility even if I was away from work for 26 days. Actually, I am planning to change my province and have made suitable arrangements to move, but I am confused either I should stay and gain an extra month's work experience or will that be sufficient if my company is providing me an year of work experience in writing. Please help me out if someone can. Thank you.

Hello, you can create your EE profile even 1-2 months before you have reached 1-year experience. So go ahead. You will think about it when/if you get selected.

Hello, thank you for your reply but the thing is I’am planning to quit my job on May 21. I don’t want to be in a situation where if my profile gets selected and later on Ircc won’t consider my experience because of those 26 days. I’m just looking for an assurance that the work experience counts as a year regardless I went for a vacation of 26 days.

Since the 26 days was unpaid it cannot be counted as work experience per the rules. It's possible you may get away with counting this time and also possible you will not. Technically the 26 days does not count so there is certainly a risk.

Thank you for your help. Just one more question, how do ircc consider the work experience. Like do they ask for 12 months of paystubs or work experience letter from the company or both?

See the IRCC web site for the documents you need to submit. Normally IRCC does not request 12 months of payslips but anything is possible and ideally you want to avoid misrepresenting anything in your application.
