Hello! Not sure what to do!
My partner applied for a RTD renewal on August 17th and received the renewal September 2nd. In the application they included a letter that stated that their old document had a valid USA visa and they requested the return of it. Their old document did not expire until January 2027, so that’s why they included it in the application. It has now been 3 weeks and they have not yet received it back. We called IRCC 2x and submitted a webform as well as even contacted our MP. Still waiting a response from the MP but IRCC said they reached out to the processing office in Sydney,NS, and they have not received any communication from them. We are now stuck, and not sure what to do. Anyone else have had this issue before? What do you advise?
