My husband and I would love to immigrate to Canada from the UK. Hubby currently works as a Regional Manager for a mobile company and I work as a PA. We don't have enough points to apply under the FSW program and are now looking at the nominee program in Saskatchewan. Our plan would be to for my husband to try and study a two year diploma and then try to get a PGWP for work out there. We are looking at diploma courses as degrees are very costly for international students. I am worried that because it is a diploma course it would not be looked upon as favorably as a degree (would this be true?). If not; can anyone recommend a good diploma course/subject in Saskatchewan? We were thinking about Business Administration given my husbands career or possibly engineering if that's deemed more suitable for work in Canada. We're worried that the wrong educational subject/course might impact our application for PGWP or PR in the future.
