There isn't any rule that states I have to get them at 3 months.

I never said there was any rule or stuff like that, was just trying to encourage you to order one but seems you took it the wrong way. My bad, good luck though.

Hello HudsonBanks,

I'm curious, in your timeline you have shown that you posted your passport from Canada to Accra. Will the embassy have to return your passport to your Canadian address, or do you need to provide a return address in the region close to Accra? Did you include a self addressed return envelope when u sent the passport?

Hi LizzyBob,

I included a self addressed prepaid return envelope so my passport is posted back to my Canadian address. Couldn't use DHL recommended in my PPR letter but used FedEx which is as good. Fingers crossed.

HI PLEASE JUST WANT TO ASK FEW QUESTION. SEEMS WE ARE IN THE SAME SHOES. OUR APPLICATION WAS SENT TO ACCRA AS WELL COS WE RECEIVED SCHEDULE A AND FAMILY INFO FORM TO BE SUBMITTED IN 15DAYS. DID U RECEIVE THIS REQUEST AS WELL ? IF SO , HOW LONG AFTER SUBMISSION OF THE FORM DID YOU GET PASSPORT REQUEST?

Hi there, I got PPR with Schedule A request same time. Before then no additional documents were requested from me so I'm not sure how long it takes for PPR after submitting requested documents.

@HudsonBanks was telling you for your own good so you can get the required info in time before they even reject your file (if at all there is a reason to reject it), but unfortunately you became defensive.

That way i would say there is no rule that says you should even apply for immigration to Canada.

"Doctor, i just came to tell you about my illness, is there a rule that says you should prescribe me medicines & tests?"

Help please anyone! I just got a letter in my inbox from cic asking for a notarized letter or statement stating the relationship between me and my child's father. My daughter and I are the primary applicants in my application and although I have good tmrekationship with her father, we are not together and I did not include him in my application.
What could they be trying to find out ? I feel there is a catch in this ? Any advise?
Who would notarize the letter?

In case you are married, they are expecting a notarized marriage certificate, or if unmarried, proof of documents that corroborate that you and your partner were together and she is his daughter.

Thank you for the response.we are not and never were married common law. So what should I submit?

Documents that show your partner is her father along with joint accounts, home lease, investments, photographs or other such documents etc. (all notarized) that conclusively prove that you were together once.

Ok thank you. Excuse my ignorance Nut if we are not living together for very long time then what do
I show? Apart from her birth certificate we have had no joint accounts or leases?

I am sure by now you would have made it amply clear to IRCC that though you were together once, but aren't anymore and aren't even immigrating together. If not please do so in the LoE, and attach documents from the time when you actually were together.

Also hope you attached his Upfront Medical report and PP copy also with your application.

The Patient-Doctor line cracked me up seriously! :D

Thanks for your post. I absolutely appreciate the selfless assistance you provide here on the forum & I look up to folks like you. I'm only starting to contribute my little bit since I'm fortunate enough to get speedy processing but I guess not everyone will take it in good faith, that won't deter me from assisting those I can though.

Thanks again & God bless! +1

What do you expect when he used the words 'should' and 'get it ASAP.' I'm inland anyway so it's going to take 6 months most probably looking at other people's timelines.

It wasn't exactly worded correctly in my opinion but whatever.

I appreciate the advice but I wasn't expecting 'you have have done this etc' at the same time if there was something seriously off with my application they would have rejected me straight away or messaged me. They arnt that lenient

Hello Gurus,

I have a question. My wife completed her master in India and at the time of creating EE entry profile I satted her education as Master and got ITA. I applied an recd AOR as well. But, WES evaluate her master as Bachelore degree. Can it lead to rejection of my application . Please advise.

You may re-calculate your CRS score, according to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp (please find the subsection at "CRS – B. Spouse or common-law partner factors (if applicable)" ), you only lost 2 points at most.

If your re-calculated score is still greater than the cutoff in your round of ITA, you should be completely fine.
