Hi Friends,

Received OINP Nomination: 23 Feb
eAPR Submitted: 17 March

Applied for FBI PPC: 11 March.
FBI PCC deadline from IRCC: 23 May (I will apply for extension in the last week of April).
Expected date of FBI PCC: First week of July.

Status of my Express Entry profile: ITA Received.
Expiration date on OINP nomination letter: 22 August
Also, OINP nomination letter mentions Express Entry number of above profile.

My question is:
In case my current eAPR is rejected, How can I use OINP nomination in a Express Profile (old or new), so that I can get 2nd ITA ?

Please point me to discussion thread of similar cases.

Your Nomination is related directly with your E.E number.. if your file is rejected then you have to contact the Province that nominated you initially so they can contact the CIC and then use different E.E profile... Becuase when you are rejected you will have to have new profile with new Job bank account...

Wait for others as well to comment.. good luck..

I have one question.
Is CIC definitely obliged to give you an answer on your PR application within exactly 6 months?
Have some applications gone beyond 6 months and still received PPR??

No. CIC says they will try and process 80% of applications in 6 months. If after 6 months you haven't got a reply, you may contact them for details.

Not at all. They clearly say 6 month of processing time is for 80% of the applications. 20% may pass the 6 month mark. We have many many people in this forum who are waiting more than 6 month (see this thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/those-who-waiting-express-entry-in-six-months-and-not-finalized-t317706.0.html). One is also waiting for 11 months now

oh my word! that is not encouraging.
Don't be disheartened. Many more people get their PPRs quicker than the average. I know of one applicant who got it in 12 days. I myself got it on the 61st day. Those taking longer are the exceptional cases.

address history doesn't match with the address given on PCC
Which country did you get the PCC? Are you inland or outland applicant? And you don't need to have all address history in the PCC, do you!
Mine has only one address on my PCC. My indian colleague got her PCC through embassy and that didn't have any address at all.
Was your address, mentioned in the PCC, in a different city/state?

yes, in my case, the address on PCC was different than the addresses in history. i am outland applicant. we should mention only those addresses in history for which we can provide PCC, otherwise, since you are from indian, folks arranging it from PSK which doesnot mention any address.

Thanks for the info. One last query - how long did it take in your case to get the decision since AOR?

PPR in 2 months is excellent if you ask me. I have submitted in March and am hoping I get the PPR by mid August
