Did they ever follow up with you regarding additional documents?

The email will have a header called pre-arrival. It offers Canadian services to the PA to help them adjust to canada

Hi. It was a request to get police certificates done. We did submit them to the representative (lawyer) Interesting though on how it doesn't confirm that they were received as the medicals show received.

IRCC can be lax sometimes about updating status in their records.

Hi all just an update to our conjugal sponsorship. We got a message today for Pre arrival services, and to get an updated police check and I have to pay the fee for permanent residence. I dont want to get too excited but its pretty hard at tthis point

GOOD NEWS!!! Congratulations. Pre arrival is a good sign. I recieved mine on September and they ask for my passport last week ))
