Hey Tech Girl don’t be disheartened...
Can you use the time also see if you can attempt new IELTS and score higher than your previous one ? Maybe that can help you increase your score by a few notches

yup ! i cried all night just to come in terms with this ! Maybe it is not a big deal in the future.. for now it felt like a BIG DEAL !
Hey hey, keep up the hope always Tech Girl as it is the Ray of Hope :) My max projected score is 433 if spouse can score CLB9 (she took IELTS today) but I'm keeping up hope!
In your case, this may at most push back the ITA by 2 draws (1 month), but what is 1 month in such a life altering process? You'll surely get the ITA maximum within July I feel strongly :)

Well... I know I lost the chance of PNP's because of him. Since he did not realize in January that only 2018 profiles are valid... i had a score of 435 then and didnt get an invite. anyway its a learning each time ! :)
Haa...sounds just like my case. Created the profile in EE in DEC 2017 when my CRS was 438. Then PNPs started pouring in and ITAs were being drawn but never got my break. Realized after 3 months that the OINP and other PNPs are only considering profiles created in 2018 - seems like such a silly and stupid bureaucratic thing to do - and in the meanwhile, I lost 5 points for my birthday in march and then my IELTS expired at end of april - happy times :p. So retook the IELTS and created one more profile 4 months later!!

Don't feel too bad. Your cried all night comment reminded me how hard it feels...like your heart's ripped out and the dream's slipping away. I still remember how it felt when a consultant I just called up to inquire told me that they processed a lot of PNPs for people with the same or lesser score than mine in the last 2 months and that she was surprised why I never received an NOI, given my IELTS was quite good.

Sometimes you swim with all your might and reach nowhere...sometimes you lay still and the current takes you where you want to. When your turn comes, it comes and none can hold you back. So keep hanging, I guess.

your profile was created on feb 20 ? and you updated new details ? in that case feb 20th is the date they will consider
Thank you! So I don't need to submit (and sign) again, updating is sufficient? Because on the overview pages it says:

Application number | Application type | Applicant's name | Date submitted | Details | Messages | Action
E00100**** | Express Entry | *** | February 20, 2018 *** EST | Update Not Submitted | Read | Check status and messages / Withdraw

U need to sign to submit but it won't change your original date of submission

You have to sign or else it wouldn't be transmitted and remain as update not submitted

COMPREHENSIVE RANKING SYSTEM (CRS) SCORE DISTRIBUTION OF CANDIDATES IN THE EXPRESS ENTRY POOL AS OF MAY 31, 2018
Find your current score on the left and see how many competitors you have on the right. Green means good (few), yellow means poor (many), red means bad (too many).

CRS Score Range Number of Candidates
601-1200
45 (-102 candidates since April 16) (Green)
451-600 127 (-1,146 candidates since April 16) (Green)
401-450 total 26,511 total (+547 candidates since April 16) (Red)
441-450 56 (-1,606 candidates since April 16) (Green)
431-440 (Yellow) 7,515 (+963 candidates since April 16) (Red)
421-430 5,831 (+522 candidates since April 16) (Red)
411-420 6,407 (+492 candidates since April 16) (Red)
Scores below this threshold have only ever been invited for the two Federal Skilled Trades-only draws in May and November 2017 only
401-410 6,702 (+176 candidates since April 16)
351-400 total 33,510 total (+1,388 candidates since April 16) (Red)
391-400 6,102 (+396 candidates since April 16)
381-390 6,906 (+240 candidates since April 16)
371-380 6,922 (+236 candidates since April 16)
361-370 6,801 (+248 candidates since April 16)
351-360 6,779 (+268 candidates since April 16)
301-350 19,530 (+1,092 since April 16)
0-300 3,388 (+256 since April 16)
Total 83,111 (+3,020 since April 16) (Red)

The regular last draw was for 3,500 applicants. The cut off score was at least 440 points. Given that there are over 33,000 candidates in the pool with scores higher than 400, it's likely the score will not be droppping down into the low 400s again any time soon

I guess the distribution is as of May 24th and not May 31st!

Maybe.
What do you think about the red zones? They have to start trimming off some . Especially the 431-440s
They will start trimming off from next draw!! around 500-600 each draw given 200 entrants over 441 and 3500 ITAs...So basically almost all 440s would be gone next draw..Then around 500 from 439 the June 20th draw etc..it takes time to reach 434-435, But I think 434-435 is definitely possible this year!
