In your CIC Account under your EE profile, are you able to see anything out of the ordinary. Go through everything, your test dates, etc....... Go through it with a fine tooth comb. I am not sure if you can make changes to an ineligible profile.

Exactly my thoughts. My experience has Been a hell of a ride. My first crs was 374 after which I missed 5point for B-Day. Then twas 369 (april2017).

I wrote ielts and had lrws-7.5,8,77. (missed with 0.5). This gave my crs score more 9points making 378.
Dec 2017 I wrote ielts again and got d magic 8777.5. Then my crs bumped up to 435.

At this point I thought am good without my spouse ielts and wes. I thought it's gonna be like 2017. Alas anoda birthday was knocking and close without ita I then realised that my spouse needed to do something.

I registered him for exam in March and he got me 8 point making my crs become 443. Lo and behold a draw took place a day after that and it was 444. I almost gave up. Exactly 2 days after d unfortunate draw I lost 5points for B-Day and left me to be on 438.

Have managed to have crs as
374-369-378-435-443-438..

And now am on my spouse Wes which am hoping will give me 446.

I deserve an award from cic giving up is not an option.

I completely understand your position. All I can say is open n invest in all possible options to increase score SIMULTANEOUSLY. . Because there will b some or other goof up coming on the way.

Before you ask that, I would suggest thinking over it. Master's is a GRIND with all the things you need to juggle while studying. Moreover, you will find it strange in school after 7 years of work. Trust me on that.

How did you work out Tie Breaker dates?

It's based on number of people on 440 divided by total days left from last cut-off(dec 30 2017)!

I am sitting at 440 and have initially submitted my profile on February 20, 2018. When they added a French language question, I have made updates to my profile but forgot to submit the changes that wouldn't change my score, meaning I didn't sign it again.

When I click View Submitted Application it shows:

Personal details Transmitted
Contact details Transmitted
Study and languages Updated
Application details Transmitted
Representative Transmitted
Work history Updated

I'm now worried that if I submit the changes now, my profile will be going to be treated like a very recent profile in regards to cut-off dates. I'm also worried that my profile would be ignored coming Wednesday because the (new) submission was too recent.

Yes you cannot make an ineligible profile active.
But before she ends up creating a new EE profile and ends up facing the same issue she needs to make sure the points mentioned by her are checked throughly which you have wisely highlighted her

your profile was created on feb 20 ? and you updated new details ? in that case feb 20th is the date they will consider

Sorry to hear that Tech Girl. I feel your frustration specially your doing this process and in the end you are paying too dollars to the consultant to get the information correct and only once

I hope you get the msg across between his two years that you will not pay them for creating the new profile and that he should not make a sloppy job out of your new profile

Your consultant should be on top of his game, especially for FSW in EE.

Well... I know I lost the chance of PNP's because of him. Since he did not realize in January that only 2018 profiles are valid... i had a score of 435 then and didnt get an invite. anyway its a learning each time !

Does that mean that your profile creation date will move from Dec 2017 to June 2018 just because of that small shortfall in Fund declaration? That will be such a shame, considering how many profiles are sitting on 438 and it may take 2 tie-breaks at least to clear off all 438s?

yup ! i cried all night just to come in terms with this ! Maybe it is not a big deal in the future.. for now it felt like a BIG DEAL !
