What is your current CRS score ?
You can easily score 7 in Speaking and Writing.
Prepare and practice well and stick to the format.
I want 7 in reading. How did you manage to score 9 ?
Reading module has been quite undemanding for me from beginning. This was my second attempt as I had scored 7.5 in first attempt also earlier but was awarded 6.5 in Speaking and Writing in both trials. Remark result is awaited and I am quite confident this time. My current CRS is 370. ieltsliz.com is very good website for reading practice.

Should be around 443 +/-2, based on trend. We'll know in a couple of days now.
I pray it should be less than 440. From CRS of 378 to 435, now waiting at 442. Hopefully this Wednesday should be my day. Looks like I now live the Wednesday to Wednesday cycle. Lol

Hi All,

I appeared for IELTS on 11th Nov and got results as L : 8.5, R : 9, S & W : 6.5 . I have applied for reevaluation. I was shattered after seeing my results but getting positive vibes now after reading many posts here. Please someone share their expert or experienced opinion on my chances of getting 7 in both modules. Thanks in advance :)
Same here - Thinking of applying for revaluation or to take the test again. It cost 185 dollars for a revaluation in Singapore. L- 8.5 R -9, S - 7.5 and W 6.5. In my previous attempt W was 7.5. Wonder what is wrong. Let me the outcome of your revaluation.

Hi guys,
Happy to share that finally we received the golden mail of PPR.
Jumped in the pool in may2017, with 380 CRS.
Missed the may 31st draw with 3 days as the revaluation score of IELTS of my husband (the primary applicant) reached us on 3rd June, then the score we counted was 418, still a long way to go.
After that I plan to sit for IELTS again in July we reached to 430, hoped that this is sufficient to get us ITA .But so wrong .
Then send my docs for ECA to IQAS, which took good 2.5months.
After long wait and we could reach the CRS of 439 in October
And then CIC started dodging us with unpredictable CRS.
Finally on 15 Nov, we received our precious ITA (which was the exact cutoff and rank tied too).
AOR - 30 November
Med passed- 12 December
PPR-16 December.
This is like a gamble, the more you put at stake, the more you get closer to your dreams.
And don't stop dreaming and believing .
Thanks @AlliBatista @andieangel , @Wandering Mind ,@shaun75, @jackdawn, @tjsecondtry , @pessacanada @astralsource @sundar17feb99 @lino82 @trumprefugee @abhishek_89 @TanakaM @GavinSouthAfrica @SGtoCAD @Lala1234 and all fellow aspirants.Sorry if I m missing someone.
Thanks for all your support, guidance and good wishes.
Would like to meet you all one day at our dream destination...
Wow, congrats, @Mithu3 ! That is an amazingly fast processing time! They made it up to you for the long road it took you to receive ITA ;)
Wishing you all the best, and hope to meet you in Canada next year :)

Just a wild assumption... There will be no ielts results I assume till 20th January, and even with 2 weeks intervals we should probably have 3 draws before then... I think CRS cutoff might either get to 430 or below by the 2nd draw in January... Just an assumption tho.
I do agree with you, probably in the second draw in January even if the draw size stays 2750, we will see 430s as the new cut-off point.

Initial process is to evaluate both your bachelors and Masters degree from either of the designated organisation mentioned on CIC website ex: WES , IQAS or ICAS , based on evaluation , only then you can claim points. Hope this helps

I think the cut off should be around 444 +/- 2.

We saw the Nov 30 pool show a big increase in the number of candidates in a 2 week period over 450 i.e 1950 candidates over 450 mainly because we had 2 ielts result within that 2 week period but even if we take that average so we should expect less than 2000 candidates over the 2 week period from Dec 6 to Dec 20. That would leave room for another 750 candidates to be cleared from 440 to 450 (if 2750 ITAs are issued) and there are already 622 people over 440 and you can add another 622 approx till Dec 20. So we can assume approximately 1250 candidates between 440-450 so cut off should be around 444 if the current trend of increasing candidates continue and ITa no is 2750
Lets hope there is an increase in the number of ITAs issueed that can bring the CRS below 440 in this draw
