Hi All,

I have a query regarding the appropriate NOC. I was able to determine that my recent job duties (last 5 yrs) have a close match with the ones specified under 1122- Professional occupations in business management consulting. However I was also able to make out that there is another NOC- 2171 Information systems analysts and consultants which further has job duties categorized under 4 heads. Below are my concerns-

1. NOC 1122 is a regulated occupation in Ontario and other provinces. Do I need to have a license before ITA or would that affect the processing post e-APR?

2. Sub categories mentioned under NOC 2171 are Information systems business analysts and consultants, Systems security analysts, Information systems quality assurance analysts & Systems auditors. Does that mean my job profile should cover all the duties under these heads or synchronization with only one sub category i.e. Information systems business analysts and consultants would suffice?

Kindly share your expert views. I have been stuck up due to this.

I’m @ 428 and I was told it’s a very good score 6 months back and I will definitely get ITA soon. Imagine the frustration...

Nope, may be even before 2018 .
CIC is completely unpredictable. It seems as though they are deciding the CRS cutoff based on "money wheel" game in casinos.

Remember on Mar24, cutoff is 441 and by Apr19 it became 415. Who knows what's in their mind?
Wait is all we can do.

If no more OINP's will be issued this year does that mean there will be less people with 600+ and the score will come down? Or am I being overly optimistic?

I joined the pool with my husband as the main applicant in October with 428 points, waiting for my ECA then will be on 436 which was a very hopeful score a few weeks back, now it looks like it will take a bit longer, but as they say "difficult paths often lead to beautiful destinations"

Your opinion is completely logical.
Since applicants >458 already been flushed out it is possible that there will be a substantial decrease in scores.

Having said that, OINP will release some nominations before 2018 but the you can be sure that there won't be abundant numbers of PNP applicants in coming months of 2017.

Can somebody guide me regarding Proof of Funds?
for 1 person, the fund requirement is 12300 CAD. I have 4100 CAD in my bank account and 8600 CAD invested in Open End Mutual Fund.
My question is, Do I need redeem money from Mutual Fund and transfer it to my bank account or just submit a letter from Fund Manager along with a letter from my bank??

I have a question regarding the requirement of PCC from Pakistan. Below is my traveling history:

• I Came to Canada from Pakistan first time in August, 2013
• Went to Pakistan on vacation for 2 months in year 2015
• Went to Pakistan on vacation for 1 month in year 2016

My question is that do I need 1 PCC from Pakistan mentioning on PCC the “Period of stay in Pakistan” from year 2001(18 year old) till August, 2013 or I need 3 separate PCC’s from Pakistan one with period of stay 2001 to 2013 and 2nd PCC for that 2 months of vacation period and 3rd PCC for that 1 month of vacation period? Please advise. Thank You.

You need PCC if your period of stay exceeds 179 days.
Your visits on 2015 and 2016 adds to 90 days which is below 6 month mark. So these details will go in "personal history" section.

Good day!, I was wondering, do you think it is possible to get a lower CRS in the next draw? I currently have 457, I was shocked when I saw 458. I also wonder how possible can it be to have one draw on Nov 15? I am worried because my work permit and visa expires on Dic 1

For sure it will be a lower score than 458 in the next draw.. the draw may be on 15th or max on 22nd Nov.. So, i think you should get the ITA very soon! Fingers crossed!

Funds that can be liquidated easily is recommended to show as POF.
Mutual funds will delay processing the application as it leads to inquiries.

redeem and transfer it to your account and explain the source clearly in LOE.

Scores will definitely drop by year end as well as increased number of ITA. Any score from 420 and above will definitely get an ITA in 2018. Just a matter of time.

I've seen outright rejections for PCC not covering complete stay in Pakistan. Your PCC must cover your last date of exit from Pakistan. You need PCC to cover up to the last date that you exist Pakistan on your last visit in 2016, be it in a single PCC (with LoE explaining your durations of visit) or multiple PCC.
