hello all !!!

I have completed my IELTS and i scored

listening : 5.5

Reading : 5.0

Writing : 5.5

Speaking : 6.0

over all : 5.5

can you please help me weather am eligible for PNP ?
What is your NOC code? Have you registered for EE?

Those scores are CLB 6 in everything except CLB 7 in speaking. Did you register for EE as Federal Skilled Worker? You need CLB 7 on all 4 sections to qualify, so I don't think you would qualify for EE FSW. If you are a skilled trade worker, then you could qualify in the Federal Skilled Trades Program, as well as Ontario's Skilled Trades PNP stream. But if you are a federal skilled worker, you would not qualify for Ontarion's HCP stream which requires CLB 7 on all 4 sections. However, depending on your NOC code, you might qualify for SINP Occupation In-Demand stream:

42k per year in Toronto is survival level only. I am taking the point of view where your wife will be at home with child. For starters count around 1500 to 1800 per month for an apartment there (yes you might hit something lower but at a cost of intensive communing or others). Add to it basic things like phone bills, hydro bill, internet and travelling costs, and that will give you around 2500 CAD per month. And none of your family has even eaten. Count app. 10-15 CAD per person and day for food. So that is 1000 to 1500 per month there. So with that salary for 3 people you will be barely surviving. Good luck.
How are you getting $10-15/day per person per day for food? If you're eating a lot of prepared foods and/or at Tim Horton's every day, that sounds about right, but if you are smart about the grocery shopping, estimating from US prices which I think are comparable to Canada's in absolute dollar terms, I think $500/month should be doable for a family of 3. At least in the US, there are discount grocery stores around, and even big grocery stores have sales as well as their own cheaper store brands for products. In many places, there are also farmers' markets that sell fruits and vegetables and sometimes even some meats for cheaper. And if you collect higher dollar value coupons and use them to stock up when the grocery store is also having a sale on those items, you can save a lot.

You might also need to take a job at a slightly more junior level than what you're currently doing, but do not apply for jobs in your field that you are significantly over-qualified for. You don't want to come off as being desperate because desperation is very unattractive to employers. Of course, a survival job is different and could be a good way to bring money in immediately, as long as you can work out a flexible enough schedule that allows for enough time to keep looking seriously for a job in your field.
That was really insightful, am grateful for shedding your insights on this subject.
With respect to acknowledging the offer made, I was under the notion that you had to rush up and accept the offered job quotation without an argument. I realize my perception was wrong. You are right, "we shouldn't sound desperate" to which I was completely blinded.

What about your take on 2281,2282? which is my present area.

You are absolutely right about it...everywhere in the world one has lot of options when it comes to food..even India a dinner for one person can cost $100 @ fine dining and a sumptuous home cooked dinner for a family of 5 will cost less than $20...
----
likewise for rentals,I have seen lot of apartments go for lower than what is claimed by him...
---
It may seem very miserly / challenging but there are $250 monthly grocery shopping list -balanced all inclusive nutritious diet -but $500 will surely feed a family if cooked at home...
