Do you meet the criteria for master's graduates here? (that would qualify you under the Masters Graduate stream)

Unfortunately both Masters Graduate and HCP streams are currently closed, but depending on which you qualify under, the fact that you just got an NOI suggests that stream could be reopening soon.

Nobody knows where the EE cutoff score will be going, but the last draw last Wednesday August 9 was 433. If we get biweekly draws for the next few months, then you might be able to get a direct EE ITA in a couple of months.

SINP also opens approximately once a month that you might be able to qualify for depending on your NOC:

IMO If 3000 ITAs are issued fortnightly, you will get your ITA by Oct - Nov

You just received NOI today in your EE account today? If so, yes, you have 6 months from today to submit the application to OINP.

But are you a French speaker who scored at least CLB 7 on the TEF? Ontario stopped sending NOIs for the Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP) on July 25, the day they stopped taking applications. Unfortunately I and many people here qualify only for the HCP stream and therefore have been anxiously waiting for it to reopen. So if you are receiving an NOI now, we want to know if you're under the the French Speaking stream or the regular HCP to get some clue on when the HCP stream might reopen ...

You can apply for either, but since HCP is currently closed and French is open, I would recommend jumping at the chance to apply through the French stream if you feel your CRS score is not high enough to get a direct ITA as soon as you would like (for example, if you are 430+ I would recommend waiting for direct ITA which would probably be even faster than OINP, and if you're closer to my 410 score, I would recommend apply through the French stream now).

Oops I just saw your original message. Your score of 425 seems high enough that given recent trends, you might be able to get direct ITA sooner than if you went through OINP, since the French Speaking stream lists a 60 to 90 day processing time:

Not sure, and I was so eagerly awaiting that the stream resumes.
Just realised that I had not ticked Ontario as the province of my choice in my EE profile .
I have updated my profile now, hence I am positive that I will receive an NOI, next Friday.

You just have to select Ontario as one of your choices. I selected every province except a couple that I know I don't want to be in. Yeah let us know if you get NOI. Do you qualify for other streams like French Speaking or Masters or PhD Graduates, or are you one of us HCP-only folks?

Oh yes, I have been waiting every day since July 25 for OINP to reopen! I have been so upset at myself for missing the deadline by 1 day, but I'm glad I have comrades here waiting with me.

You are also seeking refuge against bad governance? Are you also American? I decided on election night to emigrate from the US, although I did not decide on Canada until late March.
