yeah its still speculation we will know for sure in the next few weeks...

i have a feeling we will have draws on 23rd nov, 7th and 21st december... they will have atleast 2 draws in december, cant see a draw happening on 28th during christmas week...

number of draw was never imp and it makes no sense. It is all a play of No. of ITA issued. One draw of 2500 will be better than 3 draws of 750.

what are you talking about? iz makes sense because they have done it multiple times (skipped draws then done one 2 weeks in a row), and in Dec 2015 they've done it for the same reason (holidays).

No one can say for sure. But logic tells that it should go below 450 within several months.

Well, nobody can say yes or no to that for sure. In my opinion, there is a good chance that the scores may breach the 450 mark, may be not in the near future but possibly during the second half of 2017. There are a few aspects that lead me to believe this. The constant increase in the number of ITAs being issued recently is one factor that will clear out the backlog piled up for the past few months and once that backlog is cleared then we will definitely see a sharp fall in the scores. The reduction in points being awarded to LMIA candidates is another major factor. As per my understanding, there was a significant chunk of LMIA awardees in every round of invitations, which will reduce significantly now after the changes. International students who have been awarded extra points will get the ITA and cleared from the pool in the next few draws and it will take some time for more students to accumulate in the pool. Lastly, I do believe the statement of the CIC guy from that viral video as most of what he said is coming out to be true. So, if your score is anywhere above the 430 mark, I would say that there is hope for you during the next year.

P.S I am at 447 and clinging on to the thread of hope and urge you to do the same unless you have any option to increase your CRS score. Cheers!

There, you got your answer. It will come to at least 420 (if not 400) in my opinion by the end of the 2017 definitely.

There is around 20K of people now in the range 400-450 (based on CIC july 2016 presentation + adding some students) so it's realistic that everyone in this range should get ITA in the next year. So no more 600 points for those with <300 CRS and a job offer and they made 66% of those with arranged employment who got ITA (there was at least 12K of that kind of applicants and they are all gone now).. Then there is one more reason for my speculation - the quota is higher in 2017 for FSW AND they said in 2017. everyone should come from EE (last year there was only 50% immigrants coming from EE because they worked on paper applications)..

so it's realistic, you should just be patient.

These are the numbers, sorry for my logic based optimism. If anyone is bothered by this, please dont read the forum.

Nope, no other options to increase the CRS except PNP And trying the same but not very fruitful in first go! Am at 445.

You should also get Ontario if not ITA in a few months, so no worries, its a high score.

For Ontario, they will directly send us invitation to apply for nomination right? we cannot apply by ourselves just like SINP, right?
