Hi,
I am currently a Canadian high school graduate, I have just applied to 3 universities this week, one have already accepted me and send me the acceptance letter, the other two have not received my transcript yet. I am leaving Canada back to my home country next Thursday (28th) and I know I have to renew my study permit in order to study in university in Sep. My study permit for secondary school is going to be expired on 30th Sep, same with my student visa.
So my questions are, (sorry...there are many)
1. If I applied my study permit online now, will I be able to get it before school start( around first or second week of Sep)??
2. If I applied my study permit by sending them the acceptance letter of the university that I have been accepted, but at the end I end up going to the other university, is that okay?
3. Do I need to 'received' my study permit first before I can apply a student visa?? (since on cic website it states that as long as I summit my study permit application before my study permit expired, I am able to stay in Canada until the decision is made.)
4. OR~ Can I enter as a visitor in Sep and wait for my study permit then go to apply for student visa?
