Study Permit Restoration

my student permit expired on the same date as i graduated on 30 nov 2017 . now i want to apply for post graduate work permit but for that i need valid student permit. now i have lost my status as student . can anyone help me how to proceed from here? if i apply for restoration of status and extend my student permit how many days it will take and i have to apply for PGWP with in 90 days .

Did anyone of you tried calling CIC callcentre. if yeah then what did they say ?
Bcoz the told me that the processing time is 16 weeks for restoration.

Actually i applied for restoration of study permit extension
How long it would take?
Means processing time of study permit extension plus processing time of restoration?

Hey,
My study permit has expired on 1st October 2018, so I'm currently applying to restore my status as a student. Therefore, my question is would the restoration of my student status give me a new study permit?
