I have both study and work permit..........so can I just show both and tell them that im coming back to continue my work and studies?

Yes absolutely. Honestly why would you think the border will give you a hard time anyhow? Unless you are a recorded as a drug smuggler, wouldn't they welcome students/workers anyway?

it does not take two months to get the passport stamped back with TRV.
AruninBC it usually takes two weeks to get it back depending on where you live and if you provided a prepaid an express canadapost envelope.
but i do not suggest to book before you get your visa back.just keep checking the tracker ID to find out when its activated.

for others please do not give misleading and wrong answers if not sure.TRV can not be stamped at the border.

Reason: visitor record already on file for requested duration (inaccurate - not sure what they are talking about)
*fee to be refunded

Life goes on I suppose. Sucks I cant travel over the holidays. But, finished my MR and now just being patient for PPR.
