question regarding biometrics

Hi everyone my spouse and I applied for common law sponsorship inland on June 8th 2020. I was wondering about biometrics. Im from the USA and was wondering if I need to give biometrics for the application.

I thought that because I am from the USA I do not need to give biometrics!! omg!! I didn't even pay the biometric fee.
