Question on CIC Work Experience

Hi,

I have a unique case. I have 4 years of Work Exp (Outside Canada).Then I did my master's and again started working (outside Canada) . I have been in this job for 8 months now. When I fill this information CIC is telling me as Ineligible for FSW as they are only counting my recent experience (8months).

In this case, do i need to wait 4 more months to apply (to get total of 1 year) or I can just submit by not even mentioning my recent experience. Please help!!

Hi,

When did you accumulate these 4 years (exact years)? I ask because the system should give you points for the 4 years if you gained them in the last 10 years.

Hi, these 4 years of experience were gained within 10 years but the issue is that for 4 years i worked in a development job , then did my masters and am working in a managerial job. May be since the job roles the different the system is resetting my clock and not counting my previous experience at all

If you chose your current NOC as your Primary NOC then that would be a reason for your profile to be ineligible.

What do you mean development job? Does iT fall within NOC 0, A or B?
