This is actually old news and Quebec's limit has been set for the year of 2019.

What is valid from 2020 and which is actually better than today is that Quebec has already agreed on to increase quotas as below;

2019
Skilled Workers = Target 19.500 - Maximum 20.100
Total = Target 40.000 - Maximum 42.500

2020
Skilled Workers = Target 20.600 - Maximum 21.900 (%8.95 increase comparing to 2019)
Total = Target 41.500 - Maximum 44.500

2021
Skilled Workers = Target 27.500 - Maximum 29.300 (%45.77 increase comparing to 2019)
Total = Target 44.500 - Maximum 47.500

2022
Skilled Workers = Target 32.000 - Maximum 33.900 (%68.65 increase comparing to 2019)
Total = Target 49.500 - Maximum 52.500
Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes, a source would be great. Assuming this is true, it’s definitely great news. Cheers

Hello all,

I got a remedical request just yesterday. Does anybody know when I should expect the PPR?

My timeline is as follows:
APP: Dec 2017
AOR: Feb 2018
MR: Apr 2018
CV: Aug 2019
Second MR: Nov 2019
PPR:????????????

How long did it take for you to receive the re-medical after you have passed the SC?

I called today and they told me that i passed my SC 12 days ago and should expect the medical request letter.

I haven’t been requested to submit PCC (other than when applying of course) and my medical results have been received/passed. Waiting for PPR

Coz PCC is just required during the initial submission, unless if you have other countries you visited for more than 6 months. I read in here that some applicants did not submit PCC upfront.

Interesting. Didn’t know that you could not submit PCC upfront. Thanks for the clarification

As I understand, the process would not be completed unless the police certificate is available. All applicants are supposed to have it along with their application for each country they have resided in for 6 months or more. Having it upfront would simply save time, I believe. I have myself included 4 police clearance certificates into my application upfront. Yet am not sure if we have got to re-do them if they get expired during the process.
