Guys..
Just a little update...
I kept the tracking number of my passport return envelope, and I found that they posted the return package today at 5.25pm! hopefully I am gonna get it in a day or two.
So the summary is:
CIC received my passport on 7th Dec morning, so it took 4 business days to stamp the visa! Super fast! guess they are compensating the processing time now. :P

Lets see what happens. I'll keep u posted guys..

Hi all, I am October 29, 2015 Sydney NS, applicant and since my medical check on May/ June, 2016 I did not hear any update so I was wondering if there is any one like me???

Hey Guys,

Guess what happened!!!! I got the PPR email today in the morning at 9:06am. Earlier in this month, I had my ECAS status changed from in process to Decision Made on 5th December. Feeling blessed and very happy. :) Good luck to everyone and hope you all are gonna get PPR very soon. :)

Hi @saadicanada , congrats for receiving your PPR.
I have you in my table of timelines and you applied at the end of 2015 like @MR21 (NS), @oklm12, @Vic360 (NS), @l_jimen and @RS77 (NS), and me too...
All we have AOR from march 2016, but our Meds range are from march to july 2016, so, I'm hoping that the common thing in all of you is that the PPR took approximately 277 days (+/- 4)...
For example, @charlottemontreal (OT) received her PPR after 270 days (mar-25 to nov-24, day of her last post!)

That also means that @marcomcarneiro , @Smearingo (NS), @notsodarkblue (OT), @youssef.simon should be receiving it soon too. Not all them are from Nova Scotia (NS) Office, but I also don't know if @oklm12 and @l_jimen are from NS. @MR21, @Vic360, @RS77, you and me are!!

Following that "behavior" of the approximately 280 days I set my approximately date close to december 20th!

Well, as you can see, I am desperate!!

Hello @Mariam dal, when did you receive your AOR? Is to verify and follow a theory I have!
There are many with Meds done may-june-july 2016 without updates.

Edit: I have a theory that the Meds date is not key but the AOR one.

Oh! I'd love to hear your theory -- I have my medical done in July (but I believe my turn is coming very soon, hopefully before Xmas)

That`s what me and my family are hopping for too. I did the math and the standard deviation is pretty small (4 days), but unfortunately the sample too (6 persons)!
We'll see!

Ok, thanks.
Your date is from march like 12 of those I mentioned. 5 of those 12 have received their PPR and 1 has a "decision made" update in his ECAS (will receive his PPR soon).
I really want my theory to be true...

I share the similar timeline with yours and no status update on ECASE and no PPR yet. Seeing everybody with the similar timelines getting good news keep me on the edge all the time now. Maybe we are on the same batch of application...

We received your application for permanent residence on January 15, 2016.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 20, 2016.
We started processing your application on March 20, 2016.
Medical requested May 12 and submitted around the end of May
"Medical results have been received" status appeared around July 10.

wow what a theory you r really superb
i have a question is 277 days are business days or calender days??

Dear All:

I would appreciate it if I could get some advice/information with regards to processing times with regards to the federal application stage.

I am an Indian national, currently residing in Singapore, and I am submitting my federal application stage by the end of this month (December 2016).

Could someone please advise me as to what typically happens once all the documents are submitted? What is the next stage after all the documents are received by the federal authorities, am I required to do a physical? And what is the typical processing time for residents living in Singapore.

Thank you for the feedback.

Regards

Hi @khanhle, I've got you in my table of timelines but I used the info of your profile, that is way different that the one you copied and pasted from the ECAS.
Being like this, you are in the same group of those whom received the AOR in March. And I'm also happy because in your profile you said your AOR is from January and that was "against" my theory, meaning that could take longer than the aprox. 280 days I calculated (read previous messages) to obtain the PPR.
Best wishes

Sorry. I thought AOR was the time they received your application

Hi @annie464. calendar days... the amount of days between the AOR and the PPR of those who has already received it! Dividing it by 30 is a little bit more than 9 months (9.24 months).
Taking the info from the profiles, you just do the math (I made a table in Excel) and the results so far (with the approved ones) is 277 days mean with +/- 4 days standard deviation.

I don't say that this amount of days will continue to be the same for others with AOR from different date (month-year). All I know that for those with the AOR from March-2016 looks like is "working" or "happening".
In your case, using this (I repeat could be different) your PPR date should be around August-2017.
Best wishes
