Hello，Hoback， I saw your file and it shows your submit your application at Sept 15 2015， and it is AOR received at Jan 04 2016. Do you received your file number already? I submitted my QSW application also at september 14th, but I am still waiting for my file number. Please share more your experience to us. Thank you very much.

please advise what to do. in CIC checklist 6 photos are requested.
but in the document checklist it is written : on the back of five photographs write the name of who appears on the pic, as well as the date of the photo, leave the sixth photo blank

but at the same time, the guide contains this info:
The back of one (1) photograph must:
bear the name and complete address of the photography studio;
bear the date the photograph was taken;
The photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information. Stick-on labels are unacceptable.

so what should I do????

I got file number today. After getting CSQ i sent my file to federal 6th October and i got file number today. it seems they are bit faster than previous....cos it takes only 3 months....my visa office is singapore.....waiting for medical request......

Does anybody know how long Canada Immigration Visa is valid for? To my understanding if I fail to land in Canada before the expiry date it may result in the necessity of re-application.

Dears,

It is being noticed that the processing time is now unique at 17 months after being different for each visa office. For example, processing time at Beirut office was shown for a long time to be 64 months and that of Paris was shown to be 11 months. With the new change, I can feel the following:

They have now a centralized system with one queue only rather than short and long queues at several visa offices around the world. This can suggest that those who were expected to get their visa stamped soon can get delayed in favor of others who were late. Saying that, what will be the processing time for applicants who:

1- Sent medical results recently ( it was requested by CIC) without having visa office specified yet.

OR 2- Paid the RPRF recently.

Let us please discuss this subject. Regards.

I hope they will still honor the first come first serve basis of processing the papers even if the time difference from each visa office has been dissolved.

Hi everyone ,

Please i need your help !!!

I did my medical december 23 , 2015. I send also the police certificates (again, i send them when i submited federal ap. in Nova Scotia ) for me and my husband as the embassy asked me.

Today the Rome Embassy send to me another email asking '' police certficate'' for me only.
There are 2 emails:

The first say :'' you have not submited police certificate showing your surname before marriage ''
please send it as soon as possible (30 days)

The second say: '' you have not submited police certificate showing your surname after marrige
please send it as soon as possible

I want to clarify that i have not changed my surname after marriage. I have the same as i was borned.

In my country, Albania, the police certificate shows only one surname ( the surname after marriage ). And I have the same. When i Submited federal i send the marriage certificate that shows my surname after marriage.
Maybe i must send it again to embassy because ( the first) it was send in Nova Scotia and not to the Embassy of Rome.
Maybe this a mistake from them.
What should i do??

Please what you advice to me.Should I send again the police certificate attached my marriage certificate , explaining everything???
Or , How i can communicate with them?

If your PCC is still valid, I think you need to send them a letter explaining everything. If you have an official proof that you haven't changed your family name after marriage, it would be better to attach it. I am not sure if you can explain this by phone or email. If not, I think you need to send the letter with your AOR to the VO by mail, as you did when you sent the PCC.

My brother has bachelor degree in Electronics and Communication from India. But i dont see this in the area of training for quebec.
They have mentioned "Electrical, Electronics and Communication".

Does this code applicable to him ?

I submit my application on 4th of October and still waiting for AOR. I am living in Montreal.
I received two copies of CSQ. I have just checked and found I submit other copy of CSQ not the one with IMMIGRATION-CANADA in the lower right.
Any advice what should I do?
