Yes, its Ottawa. I personally know few people who who applied in Nov 15th to Dec 15th, 2014 range and got their passport request few days before Christmas. But their are also quite a few who are still waiting like us.

"who applied in Nov 15th to Dec 15th" -> Do you mean who got their AOR during this period OR they sent their files during this period, in which case i would assume their AOR came in somewhere between Feb-March ?

Those who sent their files during that period. I believe most of them got their AoR in March

Hi Phulkari! Congrats. Can I ask if your rprf request is not requested along with your medical request? Is it requested after few months from the medical? Thanks for the info.

Hi everyone,

I have a quick question about the application process for QSW.

We sent the application package in November and are now waiting for AOR, but we haven't sent any police certificate because the applicant has been living in Canada since the age of 17, and therefore hasn't spent more than 6 months in any country but Canada since the age of 18 (she is now 22 and came to Canada as a student). Is this correct or will we still be asked to provide a police certificate for her time in Canada? Just making sure since I'm finding conflicting info.

Thanks in advance.

They will first do a name-based check using RCMP's database(CPIC), if you can pass this check then no need to prepare canadian criminal record.
But if there are someone has similar name&birthday as yours, they will need you to do a fingerprint-based criminal check(RCMP Criminal Record) to make sure.
