Hello Anyone here applied to sponsor their Parents or Grandparents for the province of Quebec ?
If yes what's your timeline ?

Would suggest listing what month and year you applied. Some years have had faster processing than others

We got the invitation in 2024, sent it June 2024
Then we were asked for the CSQ and got it in march 2025
Since then nothing.
Yet I see people from other provinces that got already accepted and they applied around the same time.
We are being told all the time it takes longer in Quebec because of the CSQ, but we got ours pretty quick, so whats the hold up ?

The CSQ is not what makes it take longer for Quebec. What makes it take longer is that Quebec has caps in place for how many PR visas they will allow to be approved annually. Expect a significantly longer wait than other provinces.

Tried to find information about the backlog of PGP candidates in Quebec but couldn’t find the data when I spent a few minutes looking. In 2025 Quebec plans on accepting 2600 people under PGP. I assume there is a good chance that there are around 10k+ people who are currently under processing for PGP in Quebec which is why processing takes so long. There are some PGP2024 applications outside Quebec that have received eCOPR/COPR but the majority are still quite early in processing and many will only land in 2026/27.
