We got the invitation in 2024, sent it June 2024
Then we were asked for the CSQ and got it in march 2025
Since then nothing.
Yet I see people from other provinces that got already accepted and they applied around the same time.
We are being told all the time it takes longer in Quebec because of the CSQ, but we got ours pretty quick, so whats the hold up ?

The CSQ is not what makes it take longer for Quebec. What makes it take longer is that Quebec has caps in place for how many PR visas they will allow to be approved annually. Expect a significantly longer wait than other provinces.
Tried to find information about the backlog of PGP candidates in Quebec but couldn’t find the data when I spent a few minutes looking. In 2025 Quebec plans on accepting 2600 people under PGP. I assume there is a good chance that there are around 10k+ people who are currently under processing for PGP in Quebec which is why processing takes so long. There are some PGP2024 applications outside Quebec that have received eCOPR/COPR but the majority are still quite early in processing and many will only land in 2026/27.

Think you misunderstood them. You were selected under PGP 2024 quota but that doesn’t mean you will be processed under the yearly PR quota for parents and grqnparent sponsorship in Quebec. Quebec sends applicants through the CSQ process but that doesn’t mean they will be processed and receive PR that year. Same issue in other provinces although getting selected for PGP2024 doesn’t guarantee processing in 2024 or 2025.
Having the CSQ "quickly" doesn't mean that the federal processing behind it will be fast. There is sometimes a bottleneck: files accumulate at the MIFI, but the federal government doesn't speed up the processing pace because it must stay within the negotiated thresholds.

You have the added delay from Quebec trying to limit immigration even more than other provinces. Quebec typically has the longest processing for PR. That said if you’d parents got selected for PGP they are still allowed extremely lucky even if processing takes years.
