If you are seriously interested in investor visa, I can provide you with a far better option than Canada's Investor program, however amount is significantly higher (around USD 3 million). It's a UK Tier 1 Investor Visa. Processing time only takes around 3 weeks and you only need to transfer money AFTER you get your visa and land in UK. Unlike US's EB-5 Immigrant Investor visa, you do not have to create 10 jobs. You can basically do anything (work, study, business, do nothing, up to you!)

Timeline is like that:

i) 3 Years + 4 months of Investor visa
ii) Permanent Residence (also known as ILR)
iii) UK Citizenship (eligible after 1 year of PR)

However, Canada is the only country who gives PR upon landing. Others have probationary visa period to qualify for PR.

Thank you XpressEnterprise, I am serious but I don't have such a fund. I wish Canada could expedite their process a little bit considering the Brits can do it in 3 weeks.

Now, I looking forward to the forum members to help me answering these:

I am applying from the Middle East, does it mean that the interview will take place in Abu Dhabi?
Do I have a choice with regard to Visa Office?

Abu Dhabi seems to take the longest time processing applications, I would like to avoid if given a chance.
Thank you,

Hello everyone,

We have recently done our medical for Quebec immigration , status updated recently to medical received with request of RPRF , which is now paid.

Now we are waiting for PPR request ,can anybody pls share a latest sample letter , and inform how many days CIC give you for passport submission,as our main applicant is out of country.

Can we request for extension or can he send his passport to Islamabad for visa stamp and then sent back to him.

Pls share your experiences if you have faced similar situation in past .

Looking forward to your responses

Medicals are valid 12 months from the date you gave your medicals. Your landing visa is also issued until a) your medicals expiration date .... or .... b) your passport expiry date, if it comes first

After you receive PPR request, just tell your current visa processing embassy that you want your request to be forwarded to XYZ embassy (which is near to you). However, this may delay your processing ... because things move really slow when it comes to visas.

Pakistan do not allow passports to be couriered overseas without NOC. Any passport coming out of Pakistan will be intercepted. So, do not try that. Ask CIC about how your request can be sent to an embassy near you. However, this will prolong your PPR stage. PPR usually takes 1 to 2 months. You will usually get an email (or letter attached to an email) like the following.

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

We are now ready to issue your permanent residence visas. Please find a letter attached with full instructions on how to submit the required documentation.

We look forward to receiving the documents and passports within 30 days of the date of this email.

I did discussed the matter with my agent , as per him all the passports have to go together.

In our case only main applicant is out of country and CHC will not transfer one person visa to other embassy.all the passports need to go together in one packet.

Is there any other way ? pls guide

That's actually true. The second option would be ... Only main applicant apply for a TRV ... And once main applicant is in Canada, dependents apply from their nearest embassies for TRV's

Sorry, but that's how it is.

This whole process cannot happen in 30 days.. we only have one week left to submit our passports.

Just to let you know ... these golden opportunities do not come very often nowadays ... so, I would advice you sacrifice your temporary plans and make your TRV's a primary plan.

Thanks dear XpressEnterprise,

Please note the following:
Quebec Investor
Visa Office: Ankara
I'm Iranian.

Moreover, It has been almost 3 months after submitting our medicals.
Do you think there is a problem with our medical results or is it normal to have such a delay since they have received our Medical results on 24 july ???
Do you suggest us to make further contact with VO or just wait for their respond???!

Thanks :)
