It means those who have received their AOR should wait till their BIQ communicate the interview date to them, Means there is no interview mission scheduled for these country till now.

Does it mean that TEF will allow us to sit for only listening and speaking ( and ignore the other two) as the points will be allocated independant of each other ?

This forum is like a pals club. U come with any diffidulties or seeking advice, you will surely get ur way. U will learn so much by reading the posts of this forum.

For TEF exam, there are 3 compulsory parts which you cant skip, but there are 2 optional parts which is at ur discretion.

You can check www.ciep website for more info on TEF. All info is in french on this website, so if u find difficulty, use google translate.

I am trying to figure out which exam should I sit as I am seeing a number of posts saying that DELF is easier when compared to TEF . but on the other hand, I am thinking of the scoring done for either of these exams - In your opinion, which one would you suggest for a person who has no knowledge at all in french ? It will help me to put all doubts to rest.

YEAH I HAD NO INTERVIEW, IT WAS WAIVED, BUT I GOT MY AOR A MONTH B4 I GOT MY CSQ. THE AOR SHOWN IN MY SIGNATURE IS FOR THE FEDERAL PART OF THE PROCESS

I AM VERY HAPPY TO SHARE MY INTERVIEW DETAILS WITH YOU GUYS.

MY INTERVIEW WAS LAST ALMOST 1HOUR AND 15 MINUTES. INTERVIEW WAS VERY VERY GOOD. LUCKILY MY IMMIGRATION OFFICER WAS VERY VERY GOOD AND GENTLE. MY INTERVIEW WAS 75% AND 25% IN ENGLISH AND FRENCH.

ACTUALLY WE DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED, WE SPOKEN IN ENGLISH ONLY INSTEAD OF FRENCH AND SHE ENCOURAGE US TO SPEAK FRENCH BUT WE SPOKEN VERY LESS FRENCH.

MOST OF THE TIME SHE JUST LOOKING OUR DOCUMENTS AND WRITING OUR ANSWERS ON THE COMPUTER.

WE MADE A ALMOST 22-25 PAGE ASSIGNMENT ON QUEBEC WHICH WE COVERS ALMOST ABOUT EVERY THING ON THAT ASSIGNMENT WE SHOWN TO HER WHICH WE COVER THESE TOPICS

You can learn what centres give these tests from the following links:

• TCFQ, TCF, DELF and DALF tests: www2.ciep.fr/tcf/centres/liste.aspx
• TEFaQ and TEF tests: www.fda.ccip.fr/tef/centres

They are basically the same just that TCFQ and TCFaQ will only test your Listening and speaking abilities. Note that DELF/DALF are Diplomas you will have with you for the rest of your life while TCF/TCFQ will expire after two years and TEF/TEFaQ expires after a year.

The choice is yours to make anyway.

did any of you notaraize the DELF diplomas? Also, do we need to notarize our passport/visa copies?

AOR envelop contains 3 papers,1 Letter of confirmation for opening of your file in french, 1 letter of confirmation for opening of your file in English and receipt of your CSQ processing fee signed by the finance officer of the BIQ. In all the letters on top right corner you have something written as Dossier number and Reference number.

and almost 2 years in Business management in last 5 years

how many points i will be given for education and area of training


please revert as soon as possible

my age is 31 : 16 points

experience : 08 points

passes IELTS with overall 6 bands : (3 + 2) =05
L- 7, S- 6 ,w- 5.5, R -6

Passed A1 and A2 in delf = 06

wife age 24 : 03 points

wife qualification is S.S.C. =00 points

one kid of 3 years = 4 points

Finance =01 points

you can notarise any document either from a public notary or from the same place which issued it.

AF is Alliance Française !
