Guys i have a question to ask from you becasue i know most of u have their AOR and are far experienced than me.

Do you think that i can get negative points about my recent work experience. i was manager Accounts & Finance in my previous organization ad it had around 10-15 employees. where as currently im working as a Assistant manager level, it have more than 30,000 employees.

Im very confused about this becasue previusly i was on manager level and now Assistant Manager level a demotion in service does this sound stupid.. or i should ask my previous employer to give me the letter of the Assistant Manager Accounts or Accounts and Finance Analyst or Executive which is preferable letter which can be matchable with my current Assistant manager level post.

I need reply from all of my firends who always give me good suggestion...

I would tell how it is. If you were a manager in your previous position and now you're an assistant manager that doesnt change a thing. Its still management position. Downgrading in a title doesnt change anything. I'm assuming your duties/responsibilities are pretty much the same and that is what they're primarily looking at.

I cant take DELF till December, thats when the next one is held. I know plenty of people who applied without it and got their QSC. Basically their French level was checked and assessed at the interview.

No work experience can ever count negatively!
I understand what you are in, but it's not just measured by "title".
They just counts your experience durations in certain roles.
So, you had experience as "manager"..with manager's roles..and having experience as "assistant manager" with its own roles.

So it is not just about mere title.

Take into account the firm size & practice.

And rememeber..they won't question/judge your decisions and choices about your previous work/work experience..they just want to assure your qualifications.

I hope this would be enough for u to ease ur mind

Hello guys. I read these posts almost daily and most of the time I can't answer the questions as I don't have enough knowledge about the whole immigration law. That's why I have decided to shell you with couple more questions .

Now the question is, I am teaching at a college and I teach post-secondary level. Will they accept this experience for the immigration or not? In the federal category, College Teacher is in the list of 38 occupations but I think federal system is totally different from Quebec.

The other question is, teaching at elementary and secondary school level is regulated in Quebec. Does it mean that I have to meet some other criteria before applying for immigration?

Furthermore, My total years of education are 16 years and I have MBA. While doing the evaluation, should I put it as post-graduate diploma of university studies or something else? It is really confusing. Please help!!

my question is i worked as a SAP consultant for 14 months in Accenture, quit and then went for MBA . Now i have started as a Business development manager in a smal company about 15 emploees..shuold i update Hong Kong about my update..will it effect negatively that company is small??

i just started gathering all the required documents for Quebec PR. I am really worried about french. Joining in AF is a costly affair. Could anyone let me know their total fee to gain a level 4. thanks for your help.

@ vicky: there are no photo req for quebec, therfore i went with the req of FSW and sent passport sized photos with white background. i selected the highest level in english ;D i think u should select 9-10, depending on ur individual scores. however its the discretion of IO that how he assesses ur scores. Yes im from Pakistan, and i selected 16-18 years of education when doing online evaluation. and u r welcome to ask any query

@ shahi: frd i think they are not at all interested in the company size or total number of employees, as a person can work with an enterpreneur, which is normally 6-7 people company. (MBA student, u know better than me ). they are just interested in what duties u perform and whether u have the relevant work experience or not.

@reaper: put 16-18 years in online evaluation. also if u wish to continue the same profession i.e. teaching in quebec, than u have to get it certified by the regulatory body in quebec.

@wings thx a lot buddy! now the really alarming thing is my current job duties are not finance related im performing my duties of Assistant Manager and it is primarily related to Administration not finance..hope u can guide me further..

ICEberg thax a lot buddy! you are right what you say but im little double minded about the fact i heard from my friend, now he is in UK he told me that if you are applying for CSW you have to show your present level of job(currently in which you are performing your duties it should not be less than manager) of atleast Managerial level not in Past but at the time of submitting your application..need ur answer...
