Well, I don't know about that, but according to their website it is possible as long as the applicant sends that form with the required documents within 30 days after the change, maybe it wasn't like that before.

Besides, I also have some first-hand experience as I submitted my application without the IELTS result which I sent about 1 month after I got the AOR along with said form, I called the BIQ recently and they said it was already annexed to my immigration file.

Tell me abt it! Honestly that's why I stay away from these fora coz every time I come on, I learn of all these changes and then I'm freaked out for like a week afterwards!

I don't really know but my guess is that if, for example, they set the threshold at B2 and you get B1 in one of the components it won't really matter if you reach C2 in the others because you're simply not passing it.

I think it will work like that for the FSW once it is open, no component in the IELTS result sheet should be under 6 or whatever.

We can update them but not ASSUME them !

Approval is TAKEN ACCORDING FIRST INFORMATION SENT WITHOUT ANY ASSUMPTIONS .

Which means you cannot assume B1 so that you get file number, you can show A1 or A2 then update the application to support interview or to increase possibility that interview is waived by re sending B1.

I am really confused here.am actually sending in my application today without my Tefaq because I will be writing the exams on the 10th April and the result is usually out a month later.Though I didn't claim points for French language in my initial application but was hoping to send the result later.currently,I am 2 points below the cutoff and was hoping the Tefaq will give me the desired 2 points.
Are we really sure we can't update our application?

Send my application last december 2012, got a email and a letter from CIC in Feb 2013 and ask me to apply for undertaking and CSQ. After 4 weeks waiting, i just got my CSQ. What should i do? Should i send a copy of my CSQ to CIC?

It says as longer my wife PR is in process, she can have a medical card.? How does it works?

You can update your file but you MUST reach the threshold (49/57) with your initial application or they will send your documents back.

please can someone be kind enough to help with the point I will get for my English language test , I just received the following listening 7 speaking 7.5 reading 7.5 and writing 6 , also the forms says all comprehension and oral expression , could listening mean oral comprehension? please I need your response as I want to send out my package in a few hours. merci a tous

Are you calculating your points according to Québec rules? Do remember that the QSW stream awards points in a different way than FSW, I ask this because I've read several cases where people were confused about that, and having so many points without claiming any knowledge of French is not that common.

I am new to this forum,
I have applied for QSW in december but my application came back due to delf certificate as original was not submitted so i submitted the original in jan to hongkong and it was sent to montreal which was sent on 2nd feb. Since then i havent heard anything abt my application. Pls tell me how long do they take inform and whats AOR??? also the demand draft issued with the application was valid for only 3 months however nothing is written on DD so will it get accepted if payable in Canada.
Pls frnds any answers to above questions are welcome. I am feeling bit nervous now as havent heard from montreal. Pls guide me.

I am Going to have my interview for csq in may i have prepared all my docs but only one document is difficult to get in my country and that document is Contribution to the national insurance to prove the job is legal i dont know what to do but i have pay slip from my company and my business card is that can be enough to convince the officer ?? and if not plz guide me if you have had a similar position
