can u provide a source ? from where u can say round about 100000 people got AOR ?
Umer,
may be it's his assumption according to the following list,
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/quebec-applicants-lets-share-experience-t37196.16170.html

And please tell somebody, who made this original list, to update the list with their current status.

@Umer Shahzad - There is no source. I have read on most of the forums and also from some of the visa immigration consultancies that in the last year almost 1 lakh people have applied for Quebec and that is the sole reason why there are so many changes done. Now my question is if 1 lakh people have AOR than only 33000 odd will receive CSQ/PR . I am repeating i have no source and I may be wrong. This is just my observation. So, can anybody clear the confusion on this.

well i personally think ur assumption is wrong cos in april 2012 when new rules were imposed by MICC and when the language test were made mandartory the application ratio was very low.

welcome .it takes about 2 to 6 months to get CSQ after you apply for permanent residence visa which takes between 12 to 18 months. Total of about 16 to 24months depend which visa office you use.

you need at least basic french for easy communication though there are so many neighbohoods in Quebec that are English dominant. You can attend alliance francaise , or do TCF or DELF using this websites.

http://www.tv5.org/cms/chaine-francophone/enseigner-apprendre-francais/TCF-FLE/p-6817-Accueil-TCF.htm.

http://www.ciep.fr/en/delfdalf/sujet.php.

in a family of 7, you need good amount of money for the first 3 months in Quebec. you can visit their website to get details. husband and wife with two kids , they need at least 7000CAD in three months depending on their life style. Get more infor from their website . Good luck to you.

Only 33,400 PR to be granted in Quebec Skilled worker category as per the website. This is a shocking news because as far as my understanding goes almost 1 lakh people have applied and received AOR.
that's right, over 65,000 people applied for Quebec immigration in 2011. People are so crazy, they just wanted to go to Quebec without knowing proper french. In other words, people take this route as a back door to enter another province of Canada.

I am sure, some people would look for a source.. LMAO... ;D

"Quebec Government Rationale

The primary reason for enacting the above measures is so that Quebec immigration can reduce its current backlog of applications, and better serve those applicants who do get processed. In recent years, the number of applications has risen dramatically, from around 30,000 in 2008 to over 65,000 in 2011."

@Amirjs thanks for your kind response but am still not very clear with your explanations.
the Question is talking about address but your talking about my name.
do you mean that i should write my name in french on a piece of paper
and repeat same in English twice and put in my application?
thanks waiting for your kind response

Alexander,

No, it's meant for people who have names in languages that use a different alphabet (e.g. arabic, chinese, japanese, ...). That's why it says If your language does not use the Latin alphabet.
