Hi friends,

Why is everyone not giving DELF instead of TEFAQ???

When u have an opportunity of doing TEFAQ don't go for DELF. DELF is difficult, you can easily fail it with no results in hand.

DELF A1 and A2 are extremely easy actually. Yes, the speaking part is very important, but I guess that's the same for any other exam. So which are the easiest ones if not DELF?

Bonjour,

Please add your case if you have not done.

Hi red.mystry, can you please tell us what does point 3 indicate? Is it for regulated professions only? If yes, then why do all of us have to mark NO for it? Let's say I am an Accountant, which is a regulated profession, should I mbe marking YES in that case?

Thanks so much.

Please check I had taken the confirmation from BIQ HK, and I hope it confirms everybody's doubt

Bonjour,

Hello,

The engineering degree is recognized as equivalent after validation by the Order of Engineers of Quebec. We must therefore check the No box.

Thanking you for your interest in Quebec,

The team from the Quebec Immigration Office in Hong Kong

I was filling out the application for a selection certificate, I have a doubt by completing item 4. Do you hold one or more of the following qualifications. I am an Indian citizen and have done B.Tech (Computer Engineering) from Indian University. What do I mark in point 4 should mark yes in column Diploma or equivalent training as reconnu by a Quebec Regulatory Body

HeLlo guys. Just to share the news. - passed my interview yesterday at biq paris. It was very easy and the interviewer told me he was so impressed by my organisation skills, my knowledge and the fact that i spoke both french and english. He told me i scored full mark on french, english and adaptability. I will put a resume of my interview.
Thanks to all members. Although i never asked any questions, i read this forum everyday, look at answers and go with my own gut, opinions and research. So now - am getting ready for the visa process

Hi all,
anyone in here from UK ? Request you to pls PM me.
Thanks ! :)

I need your advice

Age:22 (16 points)
Education: Associate degree in Business administration in South Korea (22 points)
Language: IELTS Speaking 6.5/ Listening 8 (5 points) & French: currently 0 point, but will be taking TEFAQ to earn 2~6points
Stay in Quebec: 2 semesters of full time studies in Quebec (5points)
Financial sufficiency: Yes (1 point)
Total: 49 points

I am exactly at 49 points, the cut off points and I am wondering if it is wise to apply now or wait until I get my french test score (A1~A2) to be more safe? I will keep studying french during CSQ process. Need some advice!! I don't want to wait too long for french exam because otherwise new rules might come and I won't be able to apply!

hi gryffindorgirl,
yes, this letter is AOR. Contrats girl... :)

There will be 2 numbers printed on top right side of the letter.

No ref. ind & No. Dossier.
Of this 2 numbers, No. Dossier is your file number.

Now since you have sent your language test results, you must confirm with them about the receipt of these by sending an email to your biq.

Next step will be "waiting" till you get the preliminary review result of your file followed by CSQ or Interview for CSQ.

Hope this helps. :)

If you have applied to biq HK, then pls update your AOR details in the AOR tracker on below link:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/quebec-applicants-lets-share-experience-t37196.0.html;msg1482641#msg1482641

This tracker will help us to understand the time taken till interview. Till now they have processed applications till Oct/Nov-2010 and the data is similar for our forum members.

@mkshah

Hi girl,
Do let us know about their reply to your mail about receipt of test results.
Well, preliminary review is done by BIQ when ur file gets its turn for review by IO.
Here they calculate the overall points scored by applicants and if they need, they send notices for additional requirements within stipulated time frame such as updated language test results should be sent to them within 60 days, or work certificates in original must be submitted within 60 days.
So, in short, preliminary review is the immediate step before interview call.

hi mates

this is exactly the exam orarl TEFAQ sample, but I found it after I done my exam.

If you didn't include french test result in your application, can you still update your French test result after submitting your application? Can you gain points from it?
I am really confused... I want to apply asap since their law might change anytime soon.
