can you pls tell me more about your file ( profession - marriage - children )
thanx bro have fun

Hi Every one,

I emailed the quebec embassy about changing my credit card in the file, they replied asking to call by phone. I called them but they said they have many many applications and cannot simply search for my application without AOR. (Make sense? ).

They told me, when they will check my file, they send me asking for a new credit card number and will give me an AOR. At this point of time I can update it. The worst part, they said we have many applications and most probably will send you the AOR after 2 month from receiving the application.

This is montreal office,
Any recommendation?

Thanks,
- Khaled

Hi MEF,

what is your current french level. My wife is fluent in French but I'm just starting. I'm not sure what should my level be when they call me for Interview.

Also, how did your G/F show her french level, did she grow up in france or submit an exam result?

Thanks,

Hi all, i had received a letter from Quebec immigration on 16th of June, 2010 and according to which my name is on their waiting list for the Selection certificate interview which will held at New York on unspecified date...My question is, when i can receive my actual date for the interview after getting this letter from them or when they can possibly call me for the Interview at NY .... anyone already had experience with this/interview, please share it and any advice from your side will be much appreciated

Thanks

Shahi

Please I would like to know what language constructs DELF B1 covers or if you have any document in this regard you can post the link. eg. past tense etc; I could take the A2 and willpass for sure however depending on what the B1 covers, I could take it and pass too but uncertain. Let me know!

Thanks.

Hi chibiks,

You will find DELF B1 material on google. I wud advise you to take A2 this time.. its nice to know tht ur confident, so now aim higher. try n get above 80 in A2.

DELF B1, try it after level 5.

Bonne chance!

Shahi

if i get above 80 in A2 thats 6 points? And if i get above 50% in B1 thats 8 points? thanks for clarifying.

Chibiks

80% in A2 means u ll get a minimum of 15 in each section of Delf... imp sections are listening and speaking...so ll definitely get 6 points... However just above 50 % in DELF B2 does not guarantee good marks in listening and speaking (and if there is anything certain in the world that would be DELF B1 listening is TOUGH). if u get just above 50 then u r stuck as u cant improve in DELF once u pass.

I hope that makes sense, but in the end its your judgment. Good luck!

Hey guys,

I have a question that's really bugging me. I worked for a BPO for one and a half month almost five years ago but I was terminated since I had to absent myself without permission for three straight days due to a strong typhoon here in Manila. I have no copies of the employment contract and I certainly don't have a work certificate with me. My question is do I need to put that work experience in my personal background and just inform them that I have no copies or proof of my employment and certificates or do I omit that from my work experience? :-\

TIA!
