Angel... can you explain what you're talking about in terms of you guys made the incorrect calculation of your points, please???????

my breakdown is as follows if i'm acounting right of course:

education: bachelor's 10 points
area of training: management (business) 12 points
age: 16 points
experience: 10months 4 points
English: 6 points
French: hmmm i'm giving myself about 5 points (level 4 or 5) I dont even know
we get points for financial sufficiency???? well then, 1 point

So i'm counting total of 54 points however this my own calculation, wonder if they're gonna give the same...

Can you correct if you think I counted wrong???

hello wingsofmaybe
are u sure you'll get 12 points from area of training.
be care on getting points from area of training. I'm so confuse on that coz I was victim of area of training . Last time I didn't get any points from area of training. I did MSc in computer. plz do lot of research and then only apply. good luck

dear wingsofmaybe....

i think u hav to clear some doubt be4 entitling 4 12 marks in "Area of Training"

if u hav bachelor of 3-4 year thn only 6 marks......as u hav university degree.....clear that....!

and if u hav deploma in manegement studies upto college level....means if u hav not university degree thn 12 marks....

make it clear ,......and i request alll members 2 put light on this topic........what DCS is in AREA of TRAINING ?

THANKS

thanks canadien!!!

Yes i would like all members of this topic to clear my doubts!!! I'm afraid you might be right because they give 12 points for DCS and I have Bachelor's. So that may really suck :(

Guys can you put some light on this?????

hi dear wingsofmaybe...

jus follow d link....may be u will more clear ur doubt...

ww.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/publications/en/evaluation/fiche7.pdf

actually i m on d same boat as u.......
i hav 2 years deploma and after that i hav done 3 years degree goes to university level....

i m also confussed whether they consider my file priority basis as in "AREA of TRAINING"

DCS in chemical engineering is considered on priory......

so i also wanna clear that..........if any clue.....give me......

Canadien,

I cant log on to this link.... it says page does not exist, any other way to see this page??? Please let me know im getting worried

dear wingsofmaybe......

this page works ...jus add W in front of that.......hav removed 1 w from link bcoz we can't post links directly.......

so explore it.....n give me suggetion on my case also......

ok I saw the page, I added third w in www :)

the best thing would be to evaluate your program of study through WES but it takes time. I spoke to a consultant in quebec, my college is a technical/career private institution, but their programs are named by associate's and bachelor's so I dont know. they said that they go by the transcript so if you have 80% of the Quebec equivalent Quebec DCS then you should be fine.

Hi guys!

Shahi i think the table mentioned in for education assessment is not valid it was valid till 2009.
I think they have some other criteria by now and i tell yu we are not sure for that..

But i think we all did the best we can do..
