Good Day Everyone! I'm just wondering if how many points will i get if i'm going to include my ielts result as follows:
Listening: 8.5
Reading: 7.5
Writing: 7
Speaking: 6.5
OBS: 7.5

I'm actually undecided if I'll resit the exam since I have a 6.5 in speaking. Hope you can help me weigh my options. thank you :D
the minimum score you need to get is 5 only in each subject so what is the problem with having 6.5? you get 5 points with your score...

3) amount i need to pay (is it refundable)
4) address to which i need to send the application
1) A4.
2)Computer print is recommended as it doesn't simply erase an information you incorporate. Note that somewhere in the forms you may not be able to write with computer then u are advised to use pen.

I just received the AOR with file number for my application under QSW. Now my occupation is also listed under FSW. And i want to apply to FSW as well.
But my agent is saying i have to withdraw my file from QSW before I move ahead and apply to FSW. Please guide me. Cant we apply in both and under QSW after getting the CSQ from quebec department and at the time of lodging my QSW file into federal i withdraw my application. cant I do like that?

Please help.
Yes I think you can do that...read the discussion below although its the opposite (fsw first then pnp)

Hi,
Please have a look for forms here:

http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/EN/forms/search-title/dcs-workers/index.html

Method of payment
Application for a Selection Certificate (DCS) – Permanent worker

Only the following payment methods are accepted:

certified cheque drawn on a Canadian bank;
cashier’s cheque;
cheque issued by a Canadian company;
Canada Post money order;
bank draft drawn on a Canadian bank;
credit card (if you mail in your application, you must fill in the form Payment by credit card, sign it and attach it to your application).

NOTE! Cheques and bank drafts must be made payable to the Minister of Finance of Québec and must be mailed with your file to the Ministère de l’Immigration et des Communautés culturelles. Be sure to indicate on the reverse side of the cheque the name of the applicant in block letters. Payment in cash, by personal cheque or by traveller’s cheque is not accepted.

If your credit card payment is refused, the Ministère will not contact you to advise you of the refusal and your entire file will be returned to you by regular mail.

BY MAIL: You must include, in the same envelope, the form duly completed and signed, all of the documents required depending on your situation (appendices, declarations, etc.) as well as payment of the fees required to the office of the Ministère that is processing your application.

I may have been too wordy with my 2 questions, or maybe they weren't intriguing. I'll simplify.

I am an American, French speaking. Long story short, I get 58 points if I get a full 14 on the French section, which should be more than possible. 58+ is well above 48.

On top of my 58+ points, I'd get six more for my de facto spouse - putting us at 64+, well above 57.

Do those numbers usually give the applicant good odds?

Edit: my profession is "E" so I get no work experience points! That means I have 50+ points alone and 56-57 with de facto spouse. Barely cutting it. Guess I can kiss quebec goodbye for now. Thoughts?

My other question has to do with the de facto status. I want to be very careful about making sure everything is right with that before applying. She has already been living with me for around a year but there isn't any real paperwork to show it. She's not on the lease, utilities are included and the one household bill is in my name. Do we take measures to have both of our names of different documents (accounts, etc) and then wait at least a year to apply to be safe?

Thanks

I advise you to type text in English as this is a general thread for sharing experiences regarding Quebec immigration by the forum members having diversity in languages from all over the world. Please, keep an eye below for your query

Recognized experience

The work experience by a skilled worker candidate must have been acquired:
in the five years preceding the date of submission of an application for a selection certificate
in an occupation with a skill level above “D” as defined by the National Occupational Classification (NOC)
legally in the country concerned.

The following experience, which respects the aforementioned conditions, is recognized:

experience that was acquired full time or part time in remunerated jobs
full-time or part-time work internships as part of an apprenticeship, training or specialization recognized by a diploma, both remunerated and non-remunerated.
Inadmissibility of skill level “D” occupations
Work experience acquired in skill level “D” occupations as defined by the National Occupational Classification (NOC) is not admissible. Skill level “D” occupations are those that usually require a brief demonstration of the work to be performed, or on-the-job training or that do not have any particular educational requirements.
Intership
This constitutes experience acquired:

full time or part time
as part of remunerated internships (for non-remunerated internships recognized by a diploma, experience must be acquired during an apprenticeship, training or specialization)
in the five years preceding the date of submission of the application for a selection certificate.
