I'll just chime in with my opinion. The law firm that I used to file for QSW is currently extremely busy. Reason? They're trying to file all of their QSW clients application before the August 1 "deadline". This leads me to believe that the Date of Reception is what is important as there is no way you can get an AOR by August 1 if you're applying now.

Stylove, there's no need to worry. Since the balance from your credit card was deducted AOR is just a matter of time. And also you need to account for slow regular mailing service. It might be that you already have AOR, but just haven't been notified by that so far. Don't be discouraged by some posts that create a dispute on this topic.
I can never be discouraged dear.....just couldn't bare it the way "almost everybody's call report" was negative!!! I am an Optimist!!! 100%

No lawyer can get you a faster processing. Having a representative does not accelerate the process. But what a good lawyer can do is avoid unnecessary delays (e.g. returned files due to missing documents or incorrect application forms).

Dear Friends

This is just to share our experience for TCFQ which we have given yesterday only at Bhopal ,India

Friends we were a group of 8 to 10 peoples and all have appeared yesterday only

but what all we can say is that it is really tough exam.

First part was listening one in which we all were confused and did not able to judge properly but at the same time i would like to
tell you that Professors are so much co-operative and very helpful.

In speaking they just start with our name surname and one or two normal questions like where do you live....
After that they start asking you questions from A1 to C2 and they will ask you all the questions but at B1 on the topic
given we have to ask min 5 questions to examiner and they will give answer to us.

my first question was for cycle and motorcar which i am using and why

Another was on politics and minister

After that i have to ask 5 questions on the topic that i am finding in paris office or appartment as i am a French professor

Another question was on multi culture in which i tried to speak on why one should speak 2 languages??(As i prepared that only) ;)

So anyways it was very average one for me so hoping for the good results now

hope this will help you for upcoming exams

Thanks Alliance Francais De Bhopal for lovely support
:) :) :) :)

Thank god it was in AFB (Alliance Francais De Bhopal) but at Delhi most of the prof are either french nationals or Jawaharlal Nehru University PhD in French pass outs who are teaching here for last 20+ years and they just don't give you time, they are cooperative but take very seriously when you are taking b1,2/c1,2. But at A1/A2 its like they are playing with you in French very light atmosphere....

Bonne Chance A Tous pour les Resultats

You have hired a good lawyer but might be little late. As the new rules will be imposed from Aug 1st.

I wish your file is already submitted and under preliminary processing....

My Personal Opinion

The person who got AOR before 1,aug2013, new rules will not apply on him/her. Logically this is true !!
They already took many from us according to that, how come they apply us to other rules.

yes you are right, those who got the AOR before Aug 1st, for sure will not be effected.

I want to share my experience on my Quebec Immigration Process under Skilled Worker Program. I applied through New York Office in Sep, 2011 and received my CSQ in July, 2013. My Work / Field of experience do not come under priority processing. I am from a Non- French speaking country with no prior knowledge of French, but I claimed 6 points as Advance Beginner (A2) on my file at the time when I submitted my application. I claimed 0 Points for Stay in Quebec or Family or Friends in Quebec since there was none.

Processing Timeline:

September 15, 2011- Application Submitted
October 26, 2011- AOR Issued
August 21, 2012- Interview Waiting List
Feb 13, 2013- Interview Date Received
Feb 15, 2013 - TCFQ for French (Got A1 in both listening & Speaking which converts to only 2 points on my application, so I decided not send the results to the Immigration Office)
April 16, 2013- Interview at New York , Rejected because of low Proficiency in French, officer gave me 6 months to prove my French Proficiency by achieving A2 in both Listening and Speaking in TCFQ).
May 24, 2013 – 2nd TCFQ, (Got B1 in Listening & A2 in Speaking)
June 21, 213 - TCFQ Results Submitted at Montreal Office
July 8, 2013 - CSQ Issued.

Interview at New York Office was not a pleasant Experience. Immigration Officer told me upfront as he sat down and opened my file, the only reason he can see him not giving me CSQ today would be French. Regardless, how much he was impressed with my Work Experience, Education, and amount of effort I put in learning French, and moreover I was already at A2 level by the time of interview and was ready for the whole interview to be conducted in French, but he was looking for fluent French, so he decided not to issue the CSQ by 2 points till I prove my hold on French language through TCFQ, he gave me 6 months to submit the results.

Anybody who is waiting for their interview should start working on your French ASAP. I used Rosetta Stone’s first 3 ½ Cd’s and took couple of private lessons to prepare for the interview. For TCFQ, together with Rosetta stone, I listened to French news and practiced some TCFQ Mock Papaers online.
