Hi Guys:

i got my caips notes today can any body explain this:

FILE SENT TO RCM FILE BF'D TO: PCL ON 02/11/2010

WHAT IS RCM AND PCL
I guess should be the IO/VO handling your file. If I am correct that means your file is currently under review by the immigration officer RCM and the visa officer PCL will open your file on 02/11/2010.

Hello Ajit,

I am from Navsari, Gujarat and planning to apply by the end of a February, as my IELTS score is already expired bcs. I passed the IELTS in May 2009 with 6 Bands and the present change of rules regarding IELTS validity for two years doesn't apply to CSQ, So I would again require to appear for IELTS in February and after getting result I might apply for CSQ. Also I am planning to appear for DELF A1 exam in February though I have not any knowledge of French but by the time of exam I hope to prepare well by joining private french Class.

What abt. your case? Have you already applied or preparing documents to apply?

regards

Yogie

I have almost all the documents ready. Just my undergraduate transcripts and letters from my employers are left. All other things IELTS, DELF, post-graduate transcripts are ready with me. Just tell me what is the validity of IELTS acceptable to Quebec. I hope it is at least 1 year.

Thanks.

Regards,

Ajit

Shahi, I'm sure the trousers and shirt would be quite adequate. Do you feel nervous as yet? I know you will be well prepared.

Hi Caribgirl...

Yes, Ajit the validity of IELTS for Quebec CSQ is of 1 year for sure so if your IELTS certificate is not older than a year you can go ahead. Also I wish you would soon get all your remaining transcripts and reference letters. All the best !!!

Thanks

If they ask for 3-year Bach in Prob and Stats and that's what you have, then I don't see a problem. I think you would get the 12 points for area of training, plus 12 points for having a master's. Just my opinion. ;D

I just found out today that they debited my credit card for the application fee - one day after they received the file!! Is that normal?? :o :P

hi all !

wanted to chk up on something... I've a PGDM from an autonomous institute. Its equivalent to a 2 yr fulltime MBA but since its not an university, the certificate awarded is a PGDM.

anyone have an idea if this would be considered on par with MBA (with respect to points being awarded)

do share your thoughts on it.

Merci beaucoup ! :)

Hi,

Can some one answer my queries??

My questions..!!

1 - If I apply for Quebec Skilled Worker.. AND if I get a denial, will my initial application cost ($392 + $152 with spouse) will be returned to me OR.. is it non-refundable fee???
2 - If I submit my application to QSW, can I apply for Study permit along with it?? or vice-versa also.. do I have to wait for one of my applications out come?
3 - What is an average time for Hong Kong Visa office...? For Example if I apply in Feb this year.. how long should I averagely wait before VISA office either accepts / rejects my application??
4 - Is there any way to submit application without French language proficiency results (I do have IELTS to prove my English..) with a letter that explains why I have not provided my french results yet and gets accepted if I qualify the minimum score..... OR .. if I send my French scores later some time before my application gets finalized...?

Thank you very much...!
