Hi, all

Starting this thread to track Applications for 2020 - Quebec OUTLAND Spouse Sponsorship

My application is still in early stages. They received it on the 04th of February but I still haven't gotten the AOR.

I am not sure if there is an Excel spreadsheet out there exclusively for QUEBEC Outland Spousal Sponsorship, but while there isn't one, I thought it would be a good idea of sharing our timelines here.

Can you please share the dates below?

1- AS (Application submitted)
2- AR (Application received - as per confirmation of delivery from mail or courrier service)
3- AOR1 (Acknowledgement of receipt of you application)
4- SA (Sponsorship Approval)
5- Biometrics requested
6- Biometrics Given
7- Transferred to VO (Application has been transferred to PA's Visa Office)
8- CSQ Application sent
9- CSQ Application received (as per confirmation of delivery from mail or courrier service)
10 - ... to be added as it moves

Please feel free to suggest changes on the items above. Since I am a newbie here, all inputs will be more than welcome.
I believe that 2020 applicants have not reached step 7 yet. But I put 7, 8 and 9 as encouragement :p
Anyways... Good luck everyone.
Thanks!

As I was very confused with how to apply for Quebec outland Sponsorship, I realized that people might be going though the same.
I finally gathered all documents and sent my application late january. So I came up with what is needed to help people understand it,

The application HAS to start on the Federal Level. You will need to gather all required documents and fill in all forms.
Once you send the application to federal you will receive the acknowledgement of receipt and a few weeks later the Sponsorship should be approved.
You will be asked to undergo medical exams and also to give your biometrics.
With the sponsorship approval, you will receive the ok from federal to apply for you CSQ.

Now it is time to start the second part of your application: Québec
Download and fill out all required forms and gather all required documents. Apply for the CSQ.

Later, whenyou receive the CSQ, it is tme to send you application back to Federal to wait for the next steps, which are to send passport and wait to receive the PR Visa and the Confirmation of Permanent Residence

Details

Federal
  1. Send your Federal Application to IRCC like everyone else
  2. Fill out the forms, gather your documents and send the application to IRCC.
  3. After getting Acknowledgment of receipt (AOR), you will receive an email from IRCC to apply for Quebec's Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ)

    Quebec
  4. Download all the relevant forms (available in FRENCH ONLY)
  5. Fill out the forms, gather your documents and send the application to MIDI.
  6. After getting Acknowledgment of receipt (AOR) and successful processing, you will receive 2 letters and the CSQs

Federal
  1. Send your CSQ to them
  2. They will ask for your passport to give you the PR visa.

are the forms easy to fill? I can't read or speak French...and am using a representative...but they are taking such a long time to do up the CSQ forms for us..when i looked at the forms online...they were not as long and many as the federal's...
