Hi Everyone,

I submitted my PR application on the Arrima platform through the PEQ program in mid-December 2022 (I've been working in Quebec since 2019, passed the Tefaq, etc.). I received the message about the values test and passed it just before Christmas.

Do I understand the timeline correctly that it should be about six months until I get the CSQ? And then from there, I apply at the federal level, and it's about 24 months?

Which would mean that (assuming everything goes according to plan...) we'd get CSQ in mid-June 2023, then PR in mid-June 2025?

I'm asking because I've just had to renew my work permit, and the renewal came through with an expiry date of August 2025, so I'm hoping that my temporary work permit will last long enough to get PR, and I won't have to apply for another temporary work permit.

Thanks for any insight you could provide!

Most of my friends get CSQ in 6 months, from submit the application to receive the confirmation letter. In fact, most are 2-3 months for the whole Quebec process. Federal steps vary from cases to cases….. I see someone submit the application in this June and now he got eCoPR….. someone receive first portal email 2 days after medical test passed, but I was asked to provide CV and wait for extra 4 months…… so I think you don’t have to worry about it before 2025. If you are always preparing the documents for next step, and submit them immediately when you receive the next step email, you case would be probably finished before the end of this year

Hello everyone, today I received following message from ARRIMA. I believe it is ITA, but just wanted to confirm

Hello, I live in America and thinking of applying for the Quebec immigration program. Do I need to have a job offer in Canada to be eligible? Can someone share their timeline if they applied from outside Canada and/or did not have a job offer?
