Hi pavan ,

Don't worry about anything , Just relax because I already mentioned even if someone have ptb no one can stop him/her to land in Canada but he/she required a treatment of tb .

1) Under which visa you have applied ?
2) 2.02 is ok and it is normal , its meaning you required medical surveillance after landing .
3) But M5 profile is not good , I have some doubt .

Can you explain about your medical ? from starting to till today's status in brief ?

My AOR Sept 17th 2018
Medicals done in October
Furtherance medical test for sputum test in January 19
No updates after that
Eligibility : passed Criminality: Passed.
Got GCMS last month and all notes are clear ..
Only medical M5, However I have seen many people who got M5 and passed within 3 months time.

I take 2 injections per month for chrons and that's the reason the inactive TB showed up ..
The same was communicated with the Panel physician in coordination with my specialist.

Current medicals show Ready to be Assessed

The file is in London Visa Office

Hi Pavan ,

Thanks for details .if your sputum test and repeated chest xray was fine then you need to ask immigration center about your status for medical . You can send a mail to them . have you checked your doctor's letter (panel physician's letter) which was uploaded to immigration . That letter have all the information means you have cleared the medical or not . Your rest of things are good, because of medical conditions your application delaying .

I recommend please ask you immigration center (visa office) about your medical . If they said you are unhealthy and you required a treatment then ask then why are you unhealthy what is the reason . They will give you all the information .

If you have same symptoms which they will say you about your problem . Then you need a treatment and give a medical examination again after cure and you will get clearance . Rest of that time your application will be stay on hold you can verify that from immigration.

But if you have no symptoms and you are healthy :

you have no weight loss , fever , cough , weakness , Then No worry and I suggest you please change your panel physician and go to a super specialist for tb who have more than 30 years exp minimum . He will make you happy I am sure about that .

If your problem to related tb then don't take any tension or stress because these both are not good for health , You will definitely get visa .

One more thing if you are from India let me know I will suggest you doctor as well .

I am based in US right now . Yes they stated it's inactive TB and also sent a letter from my specialist saying that we have taken the required medication and no further medication would be required.
Yes the Sputum test and x Ray were clear..

I had mailed the visa office , however no response from them regarding the medicals.. sent a reminder this week again..

Hi Guys,

I want to tell you some information regarding immigration medical . I am ptb Survivor . (I did 12 months treatment , more than 15 X-rays , two CT-scans , Two bronchoscopy , two time cultural tests including MTB and AFB BAL with bronchoscopy , one time immigration Cultural test)

Approach : I went to a small village's doctor to India's top specialist doctor who are having more than 45 years of experience in pTB diagnosis. You can't imagine how I got out from that extremely stressful situations . (Weight gained : 45kg to 80kg)

Right now I am in Canada as PR . I reached here in March 2019 . I had also cleared PTB test at here in Canada after landing .

Following points please note down :

  • PTB cann't stop you to move in Canada , because it is 100% curable . If you have any doubt please post your question on this forum I will ans it . ( This line is for those who have positive ptb, Nothing to worry about anything ) . :)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now I want to tell rest of persons who are normal but have scar on their lungs . Please live without fear , because If you had ptb in your past years and you had treated more than 6 months and Now you have not symptoms then nothing to worry about anything .

Immigration process :

First phase : general medical test with chest X-ray !!

Second phase : if they have found any scar on your xray then they will required cultural test x 3 with a repeat xray. That process will take three months in India .

Third phase : If your Cultural report fine then doctor will do repeat x ray and compare it with older one , If everything is fine then doctor will upload the reports to immigration . and within two weeks maximum you will receive a mail from immigration of medical clearance .

Fourth phase : After medical clearance you will receive a on boarding letter within month or it will take 2 months max, In my case I got it within a week . That letter have all the information about facilities for new immigrants .

Fifth phase : You will get a passport request within 2 months after that letter, that is the max time you can get earlier as well.

Sixth phase : you will get your passport back within 2 weeks with COPR letters . ( Happiest moment but with some tensions ):):(

Seventh phase : I said "happiest moment with some tensions" , that means you with get these COPR letters with medical surveillance letters . But nothing to worry about anything . In Canada doctors are not Greedy , There is very transparent and powerful examination system . You have need to clear your ptb tests here as well , it will not make any impact on your immigration process . You need to call TB nurse and then see to your doctor .

Live Happy Life in Canada !!.:)

I hope this information will make you happy . If anyone have any question please post it on this forum I will ans your questions when I will see . You can ask any type of doubt regarding PTB . I have very hard experience of it . :)

I am writing because recently I got cleared by Canadian Doctors and I realized many things regarding which medical I had in India before PPR . I don't want anyone face it as like me , I had extremely bad experiences but I also got some good doctors in India .

I will share my complete story when I will have some free time . In Canada life is very busy . Good luck guys :)

Sorry I forgot one more thing :

Note : Please choose a good doctor not hospital . Please check his background history , his study and his experience . That is very important .
Hello,

Thank you for your post. I also have history of PTB and was given clearance last November 2018 after 9 months of medication. I've been reading from this forum everyday since I'm about to have my medical exam and was worried because of the scar in my lungs I'm glad I came across your post somehow lessened my worries

Ok,
That's good . Actually They also want to check how much chance of TB reactivation , May be that's why you are facing that problem . I highly recommend please check from Visa office via email or telephone, any method , They will clear you . They have a telephone number which will let you know about your medical status .

Remember there have only two options :

You have cleared medical
or
you don't

Please check it . If you have cleared then fine you will get some updates soon . If not , that means they want some further clearance about TB reactivation chances etc. You mentioned , you are in USA that is good because there have transparent medical examination .

In both cases no one can stop you to land in Canada , There will be some delay only . So don't worry and live without fear :)

Good Luck !!

Thank you !!

Actually I faced a lot of pain during my medical. I did sputum test , Chest X-ray and one of the very big examination which is called Bronchoscopy . Actually my panel physician doctor was greedy , She wants make money from me . I approached India's top most chest specialist who said your xray is fine it is old healed scar . But my panel physician not accepting she did bronchoscopy which is not a normal examination and not a regular test . I told her I have no symptoms and I gained 35 kg wait almost when I was sick I had only 45 kg and now I have more than 75 kg . I am doing gym . I explained everything But she was not accepting and she did that what she wants from me . Even my all sputum and xrays are negative . I went to her clinic multiple times and she is doing same with other people as well who have no tb symptoms sometimes I has seen people are crying there . I remember there have 2-3 persons who are going for bronchoscopy but I stopped them and I said you go to different doctor or take letter from different doctor then give it to her . They did same and they got cleared with in week and now they are my good friends here in Canada . They also passed their examination here in Canada which proved the Indian panel physician is doing wrong .

I had big story :(

But now everything is fine and I want help those people who are facing same situations .
How long did it take for you to get your Pr ??

Guys I received a call today, from my doctor saying that my Sputum tests were all negative and that I need to go for second X-ray on 2nd September.
So I am really happy that the test results were negative.
And I know my Xray is also normal.
Just hoping things work out faster for me. i am a study permit applicant.
Just letting everyone know that things will be fine if you know that you don't have cough and weight loss.
Just because India is marked as TB crisis country, they do extensive tests and delay our visa processing.
Hoping for the best for all!
Will update how things work out.
