pakmate,

although literally you should get 5 points but technically you wont due to the reason you have mentioned.
VO will assess the current residency of your relative. if you wanna claim 5 points from her, your aunt must have stayed and actively contributed to Canadian Economy. Still you should claim for that 5 points and see if the VO overlooks what I said.

4. My wife's aunt is living in canada and we will submit her postpaid sim card bill and copy of her citizenship card and passport too

Dear Qorax,

After soo many efforts, i was able to get a document known as Family registeration certificate, FRC from a department called NADRA(comes under the ministry of initerior).

This document clearly indicates that my mother in law and her brother are real sister/brothers.

Can you please tell me what explanation should i provide for NOT HAVING BC. it will look wiered if i say they were lost :(/

Please help me in this regard.

In that case u may submit any other doc [of both] which depicts common parentage, eg. Marriage Certs, School Certs etc. And write a cover letter explaining the unavailability of B/Cs.

I hope the maiden name was same, sans the surname. If so - not an issue. If not - u'd require documentary evidence to connect the person having 2 different names [or name change], eg. Newspaper Notice, court docs, Affidavit etc.

I did submitted marriage certificates with initial application.

Did u submit any document during initial app filing to claim 5 Adaptability point? And, without this 5 adaptabilty pt, does ur score turns out to be less than 67?

You see, i also didn't submit the "Proof of Relationship" doc (i.e b\cert of my uncle & father) due to its unavailability. I just send them "Proof of Status" (i.e Passport copy of my uncle) & "Proof of Residency" (i.e Bank statement copy). Later i came to know from the forum & new checklist(precisely mentioned) that such doc is required, else file will be rejected.

I am just curious to know whether u submitted any doc to claim 5 Adaptability point?

Hi Qorax,

My consultant is saying that I should provide him the prove that my relative is currently resides in Canada and he says that I should provide:

Updated Notice of assessment,
Updated pay slips issued to my relative by their employer in Canada.
Updated Credit card and bank account statements in my relative name showing transactions that occurred in Canada.

My relative is reluctant to send his bank statement and credit card statement, he thinks that it can be misuse.
My consultant wants to send these documents early as visa office is not demanding now but they are sending refusal letters on this base.
Please tell me that if I will send them, his employer letter and notice of assessment and his job web link (as he is in government job), is this sufficient.
Or credit card and bank statement is necessary? Please tell me as soon as possible.

Paro,

I hope qorax will reply.
This is what I have to say and I have seen this with other cases.

1. you must submit his Tax papers to your VO.
2. Updated pay slips aren't necessary as his TAX papers would show how much he earned each year.
3. no need to send credit card papers unless exclusively requested by your VO.

it is usual that some relatives dont want to reveal their income/expenditure matters to their relatives.
in such cases relatives cant be pressurized to do that.

Hi Janathan,

Are you sure that Tax papers is MUST? If yes, plz give me the reference.

Because my relative was unwilling to give tax papers, rather he gave the payslips. I hope pay slips should do.

Well i say...not a MUST but desirable as the purpose is to ensure the relative is permanently settled in Canada. Keep in view this objective only and try assuring from other means like u mentioned latest pay slips, utility bills, land line numbers etc.

U can not pressurize them anyway for more proofs.

i think tax papers / payslips are needed just to prove that some one is currently living in canada and he has lived in canada for last couple of months

i would also like to say you must send credit card / bank statements showing recent transaction that took place in canada to prove that your realative was in canada that time. thx
