Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Application received on sep 3,2019. Medical was done on December 2019. No update thereafter.my background check in the application status is still under process even though it's been an year.

Did they request any additional documents?

Yes, they did ask for an additional document on November 2019. Which is just recently got updated as being reviewed in August 21,2020.

do you mean the percentage bar in GCKEY? that one is there just to show you how many months remaining for one year. useless.. its not tracking our application progress.

I think its better to renew now and inform the embassy with your new passport copy. Its better if you contact them first, this is their email address.

Hey... Even my passport is expiring next year around the same time.where do u live in Sri Lanka or Canada? If you live in Canada you can apply it online.

My wife did her medical in July and is still waiting and I know there are people waiting since last year for pre arrival letter.

Has anyone had trouble accessing GC key account today? My profile says application updated but when I try to open the link to my profile to see the updates the page goes to a page that says "Bad Gateway Error 502".
