Hi guys, yesterday my wife had interview, after the interview the officer returned all the documents and photos that I provided here when i submit the application but they didn't ask my wife to submit the passport. Anyone experienced this. Or anyone know y thry returned the document but didnt ask to submit passport

PPR will be sent to you after the interview, they will not ask you verbally to submit it.
Return of the documents can happen at the interview or with the visa. My husband got his with the Visa, but someone else I know got them back at the interview.
Give it a couple of days, you will get an update.

They didnt return my husband our docs after his interview. I wonder why they return some ppls docs after interview and for others return with the visa :

When my husband did last month. He didn't get any proof. It was send to cic electronically and it was updated on our account with in 2 days.

please explain me how to get the PCC within a week? how is it possible ?

if its a same process they normally take 1 or 2 months to complete it right?

where should we go and collect it? should we visit to police head office ?

When I asked the police officer how long it will take to get it. He told me 10 business days and also on police.lk it states 14 business days.

According to new system in the police they also told me to wait till 10 to 14 days

Wow, congratz. Im so happy for you!!! So when are you booking your ticket to Canada? My wife is coming just around Christmas.

Congratz! Yes, you have to submit passport to VFS and go through their procedure. Submitting it directly to the Embassy is not an option anymore. It would take 2-3 business days to get it back with the visa issued. You can either have it couriered to your house or ask them to inform you, so that you can go and pick it up.

It takes 14 business days, which is roughly 2-3 weeks.
They will mail to your home address.
