The processing of the applications is not the prerogative of PHAC. Most applications field in 2019 and 2020 have been approved, or have passed all stages and put on hold. Some stages such as medicals, security etc. have a shelf life. If the applications are pending for too long, these stages have to be re-done unless they are extended by a policy decision, which was done for expired medicals.

@legalfalcon Sir, I was asked for the medicals of my outland dependents on July 14, 2021. They complied and passed medicals on July 19, 2021. All stages are cleared and our application is pending for final decision since Aug 2020 and is on hold due to overseas dependents. Will they redo our security again?

If the country your spouse is in has started issuing PPRs, then it should be soon depending on the workload.

All stages are cleared and our application is pending for final decision since Aug 2020 and is on hold due to overseas dependents. Will they redo our security again?

I need urgent help please,
My Aor-29 april 2020 , alll stages have been passed except my daughter medical which gets expired this june 24th, i did upfront medical for my daughter on july 2nd however the hospital did some mistake in new medical , for gender they mentioned male and passport expiry date is also wrong, can u please help me what should i do in this situation,Thank you

May be easiest way is, do medical again, and raise webform mentioning mistake in first medical.

I am sorry there is an emergency in family so can’t do remedial again, no way to rectify this one as i am trying to contact the clinic if they could fix their mistake

No. They clearly mentioned that they are only going to process people who have expired COPR, and no other.

You can either ask the panel physician to correct it in the e-Medical system if they can and also send a web form.

However, all IRCC needs is an upfront sheet with the IME Number to locate the medical record and attach it to your application.
