Hi Everyone,

My I am waiting for my Medical and my E-status has now changed from In-Process 2 Decision made is this a positive sign that i will get my medical???

Regards

Hi Nadeem, to be true & clear, this is not a good development going by your E-CAS.

Still nothing could be ascertained until the verdict from VO is received.

Please share when ur application got to In-Process & when it turned to Decision Made. Just need to understand the time lag between the 2 updates.

without medicals Not a good sign

I have the scan of letter received by my consultant yesterday, can't paste the whole letter but updating the vital contents in simple language as below:

VO writes (Dated 28-March-2012) to PA (Female)

You do meet the selection Criteria (Points 67 or above) but not satisfied that you will be able to ecnomically adapt yourself in Canada due to below reasons:

1. IELTS assessment you have scored 6 out of possible 16 points in your first language with an over all band score 5.0 & in 2nd language it is 0 so you scored 6 out of possible 24. This hinders your finding employment & establish economically in Canada. (She should have worked & improved on this point prior to submittting her full docs)

2. No evidence of your spouse (husband's) english level ability. So I am not satisfied if your spouse is having adequate english level ability for finding employment in his field of expertise or related field. (STRANGE what does VO expects here, IELTS of SPOUSE also).

3. Bank statements show sudden large funds deposits for which source is unknown. (We have a long un-ending debate related to this in another thread, now we understand the significance of funds proof)

4. Not satisfied that your old canadian citizen & his wife will be able to support you in canada since they just have $ 21k (CAD) as their personal credit. (So they not only see that you have a relative in Canada but also if that relative can support you)

5. Finally your relative lives in X location & you are planning to settle in Y location 300 kms away, not satisfied that they will be able to help you settle in Y location. ( Now think how critically the information provided by us is being examined, Imagine the extent of analysis done by the VO)

Giving you an opportunity to reply on above concerns & provide additional documents within 30 days from the date of this letter.

If you will not reply a decision will be made based on present information in your file.

Sincerely

I kind of agree on this. For 4131 profession she does need high IELTS score.

2. No evidence of your spouse (husband's) english level ability. So I am not satisfied if your spouse is having adequate english level ability for finding employment in his field of expertise or related field. (STRANGE what does VO expects here, IELTS of SPOUSE also).
Spouse ability in English is never a reason for rejection.

3. Bank statements show sudden large funds deposits for which source is unknown. (We have a long un-ending debate related to this in another thread, now we understand the significance of funds proof)
Agree on this though.

4. Not satisfied that your old canadian citizen & his wife will be able to support you in canada since they just have $ 21k (CAD) as their personal credit. (So they not only see that you have a relative in Canada but also if that relative can support you)
This is BS.

5. Finally your relative lives in X location & you are planning to settle in Y location 300 kms away, not satisfied that they will be able to help you settle in Y location. ( Now think how critically the information provided by us is being examined, Imagine the extent of analysis done by the VO)
This is BS.

thanks for sharing dear, Canadian Dreams and a good review by dear nano (+1 for both of u)
in my opinion, in this case concern of VO is justified and rational
apart from this i want to point out another aspect of these letters(i have seen somehow similar one issued to one of the clients of my known consultant), that CHC-ND is in real hurry to finish up the backlog and have given a little time for applicants to provide updated information. otherwise, if they had ample time they would have given more.

Now suppose, once review is completed for all the prejuners and CHC-ND doesn't issue any medicals. Then, due to change in family composition and for many other reasons, CHC-ND would have to review, the already reviewed applications. That may be a further overhead for VO. Neat of the text is that CHC will be issuing Medicals soon for the reviewed applications. It is just a matter of days

again just another thought, waiting for comments...

Hi Grewal, I guess this is the same letter you have seen. I just have edited the language & made some minor changes in figures so it doesn't look like a copy.

Yes Nano, In this letter it seems as if VO is digging out reasons to write against the applicant. I just agree over IELTS score & funds part, rest all is mere BS.

To be true, I am really surprised & worried that if this is the way ahead for applcations.. then nothing is certain.

Srid, as per the update this applicant was IP with processing date 28-March-2012 & line " A letter has been sent" on date of In process.

Still I will check out with my consultant tomorrow for the present E-CAS. I think VO will not issue instructions to change E-CAS till 1 month deadline expires i.e. before 27-April-2012.

This is the reason I am more worried since i also have a similar update in my E-CAS but no letter had been received so far.

It looks like the deadline to submit these additional documents or clarifications is only a month, going by the dates for this applicant. Keep in touch with your consultant and send a note to NDVO if you didn't receive anything even after 3 weeks from the date.

It definitely seems like they are working on making a selection decision on all MI-1 applications as soon as possible.

Hi ptv, my IP date is 01-March-2012 with same date of letter sent. There are many other applicants with similar status with my consultant & here also in this forum but no one has received any letter so far.

Still I will prompt my consultant tomorrow to quiz NDVO regarding "letter" via a CSQ. Although consultant told me that there are numerous applicants with E-CAS similar to me.

If I am not mistaken, there is this phrase also right? "Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

Since this is clearly beyond normal mail delivery time, no harm in sending one. Your consultant can probably quote the file number of the applicant who received this letter and ask the status of other applicants.

Yea, this phrase is there & i am surely going to ask my consultant for shooting a CSQ mail tomorrow but I would ask them to refrain from quoting any other applicant's details/file #

Very informative thread for all prejuners

that was different, in that VO was asking for IELTS score that she had not submitted along with the full documents. It was a curious case because in practice CHC-ND return back application, if applicant dosn't submit IELTS score along with the application.

You r right Grewal, how they accepted application without IELTS scores & now asking for the same.

Re: >> Pre-June with Status "In-Process", "Letter Sent" & "Processing Da0te" <<

On friday April 13th 2012, i received my caips.

On my ecas its shows that on Feb 22th 2012 my application was put in process

On my caips it says that my file was revise on this date( Feb 22th 2012), it also says i have been awarded 67 points. On the part that it talks about

Medical it also says the same date but the due day is on -June 22 2012 so i guess i have to still wait for my medical to come.

I wish some body can help me with a funds issue that i have on my caips it says that

Satisfied that PA meets MI1 under NOC 7312 Heavy duty mechanic I have reviewed document submitted and satisfied that PA met selection criteria (67 points) Settlement funds: Benefit of doubt given- PA has an extract from Xe.com showing that this is equivalent to 36K cda but bank letter is missing.

so i do not really know what this means.

i do not have the money in cash, My wife has a house that the value for the government of my country is worth 36K us dollar but the commercial value i mean if i was to sell the house to a normal person would be much higher ( went i sent my application for the fund proof i sent in a copy of a received of the annual taxes i have to pay to city hall for having this house and on it, it shows what is the value of the house.) If i get my visa to canada i am going to sell the house and with the money i get i will take it to canada as proof of funds
