Pre arrival letter and decision made

I'd suggest you look at the tracker file. In actuality, it can vary quite a bit, and those sending out the "you'll get it in two weeks, confirmed" are just getting people's hopes up. Some get their PPR quickly after the pre-arrival, some take longer.

The file is not 'done' at pre-arrival, jsut one stage.

Hi everyone

I’ve been following several forums on this website since I applied for my spousal Outland sponsorship application.
But writing in for the very first time

my timeline.
Application received - 30 sept 2019
Sponsor eligibility passed - 20 November 2019
1st Medical passed on 1st jan 2020
Biometric done on 2nd Jan 2020
Application moved to NDVO
.
.
Long wait
.
.
Interview scheduled on 1 feb 2022
Interview rescheduled on 1 March 2022
Interview passed on 2 march 2022
Re medical request on 2 march 2022
Pre arrival letter on 3 march2022
Medical passed on 24 march 2022
.
Now waiting for PPR

CIC taught me to be patient.

All I want to know about the current usual timing of getting PPRs after re medical and pre arrival

Look at the tracker, there's no 'maximum' per se.

Of course you can apply for TRV for husband - and may be a good time to do so, in that the pre-approval seems to indicate that they have no questions about the relationship being genuine.

Hi Everyone,
I received my medical request on April 7th 2022, Medical done today April 8th 2022 and also received Pre-Arrival services letter today. What is the next step and how long it takes to get COPR or PR Letter? I already live in Canada on Work Permit. Any comments and guideline will be highly appreciated.

Got my prearrival letter on last thurseday 14 Apr but just checked my cic account and findout lol, anyone knows what is the next step and when can i expect for approving and the final step?

what is the timeline to get COPR after medical is passed? Pre-Arrival letter already received.
Note: I am currently living in Canada. so No PPR request is in the process.
